I love everything about this light!! I used it in my pantry. It had been in my cart for about a year, while I researched, and checked out other lights. I tried the little portable led lights, that stick to the cabinet and you push them on. First off, they weren't quite bright enough, secondly, they dimmed after several months, and lastly, they were hard to click on, because they were attached to the top of the shelves, and the ergonomics just weren't there. These lights are the best purchase I ever made!! They are very well-made, and look sleek, plus they were simple to install. They are slim, and at first I was afraid they wouldn't give off much light. Not so!! They are very bright, and because they are slim, they do not get in the way of taking items out of the pantry. I love that they are attached with a strong magnetic plate for recharging, but they remove easily. I've had them in for almost a month now, and they still are bright. They are sensor lit, which works perfect for my pantry! They light up when I open the door and start to reach in, and they turn off about 10 seconds after I remove my hand. I need to order two more for the other two shelves, but for now, I just take one off the magnetic plate, and use it for the other shelves. Well worth the money spent for the quality you get.

I use one of these to light my garage when I open the door from the house to go out there. It makes all the difference. The light stays on long enough for me to get down the steps and to the car, or retrieve something from the freezer I store out there. If I intend to be there longer, of course I turn on the regular lights but so often it's a quick visit for something, or trip to the car and away so having this temporary illumination is great. The rechargeable battery lasts several months, and when exhausted takes several hours to recharge (at least when attached to my computer--may be shorter if plugged into the wall), but then provides nice bright light as needed for a good long time.I use another strip for my pantry, and value them for dark cabinet recesses as well. They come on reliably when motion is detected and stay lit for a decent amount of time but not so long as to run down the battery unnecessarily. The light will stay on as long as motion is detected (and it's otherwise dark), but only about 30 seconds after motion is gone. The switch allows me to turn the light off all together or on as I want for the length of time I need it, but I use the motion detection setting so it functions automatically.Since the strips attach to magnetic strips you put in place via the sticky tape on the back, you can easily remove the light for recharging as necessary and replacement. Very useful and long lasting item.

Purchased these to reduce occurrences of lights being left on. Motion detection is great. Brightness is serviceable but wish the brightness level could be adjusted. Would also be nice if the timeout time could be increased/decreased as well.

I had originally really liked this product however it stopped working correctly after three weeks. The motion sensor would turn on the light but would not turn it off after you left the room. I tried contacting the seller to give them a chance to just replace the product for me but I never got a reply back from them so I'll be returning the product for my money back. Had they replied back to me and resolved the issue, I would have given them 5 stars because when it worked, I really liked it.Edit: I have to admit it was my fault for contacting them via email when I should have contacted them through the Amazon "Contact Seller" way. After contacting them correctly, they were very prompt in replying and resolving my issue. I have changed my rating from one star to five stars. They are very bright and very convenient when you need to take it apart from the magnetic strip and use it in another room. I would definitely recommend these lights and would buy again from RXWL.

Edited review - I had the lights too close together at first and I thought they weren't working. I sent a note to the seller, who responded in a timely manner with some suggestions, including that one. Now they work fine.The lights seem like very good quality, they look nice, and they're very bright. They stay on about 15-20 seconds, and work within about a 3-foot (1 m) distance. The magnet is strong, and the magnetic adhesive strips are easy to apply. The USB charging is awesome - no batteries to buy! I used them to brighten up a dark stairway. I would buy these lights again.

I got these to use under a cabinet in a dark corner of my kitchen. At first, they worked great on the automatic, motion-sensor setting. The light was bright and they only needed to be charged once every couple of weeks. Eight months later, the charge lasts about two hours. So I keep them turned off and manually turn them on when I need to. That's not always convenient when your hands are wet or messy from handling food. Even with keeping then in the manual on-off position, they have to be re-charged 2-3 times/week and the light seems dimmer. I expect then to die completely, any day now. I wouldn't recommend these as a long-term lighting solution.

Love how it’s rechargeable, has a magnet strip so you can easily remove it and use it as a flashlight, and the motion activated feature. Easy to install! Will be buying more.

Didn't realize I needed this in my life until we got this. IT's soo bright and easy to install or just carry around if I need some light and can't find our flashlight. We installed these on the stairs so that we always have lights on the stairs and they're wonderful. I love how quickly they charge too

I purchased these as I wanted under cupboard lighting in our kitchen and these are amazing. I have then switched to motion sensor and they light up as you are approaching and provide a nice light. My dogs set them off at night when they go to get water so it is nice for them. They look great and were easy to put up. They last about 1 month before I have to charge them and charging takes a few hours. I have bought a few sets of these for the garage and our trailer. Would definately buy again and recommend

Wow! I was a bit iffy on getting them at first, but I couldn't be happier! I have been using them for 1 month now and haven't had to charge them since the initial charge.I have one at the entrance to our kitchen because the light switch is in an awkward spot and one inside our mini-fridge, they both get used multiple times daily. The one at our entry way is located about 8 ft in the air and works when we walk by it. The motion sensor could be very slightly more sensitive but I do not have an issue in the slightest. The light is bright and stays on for a long enough duration, if you are fairly still it will shut off on you, I haven't had any issues with this either. The one in the fridge has worked great despite the cool temperature. The mounting metal bars work great and stick well.10/10 recommend, especially for $30!

I ordered these for my kitchen that has very poor lighting. I ordered one set to test under the cabinets, one of the lights as poor motion detection so I will use it in a closet where I can turn it on and off by hand. Very bright, easy to install, and I've ordered more!

These so far seem to work really well, the motion detection is very good. It does provide a lot of light if placed overhead so lights point downward. It would be fabulous for use in the kitchen under cabinets. I personally bought it for a light by my desk, as I prefer the daylight white LED bulbs. Recharging is easy and seems to last a few days before recharging is needed. Handy light for those areas where lights are dim. It would be handy inside a wardrobe closet or the linen closet. At a later time, I'll get one for the linen closet. Great deal!

Installed one of each in 2 closets of approx 60" length by 30" depth. Installation was simple as the double sided tape along the magnetic bands did a decent job of holding the light bars in place. Light strength would benefit to be a bit stronger as I'm someone who likes things bright but others would find it perfect as it is. Motion detector works flawlessly and battery life is good. Fully charged before installation 2 weeks ago and so far didn't need to recharge yet (open closet about 3-4 times weekly for about 2-3 min). Satisfied with product.
