Very realistic without any of the worry. Have let the kids play with it, but gently. Not sure how the blade would hold up to repeated, hard blows, but excellent for cosplay, etc. several people have assumed it was metal.

Got this for Ren Faire this upcoming weekend. Advertised as “foam” (which technically it is) but weightier and more durable than that word implies.

Pretty but it might be too hard
It looks great. It has a good size to it as well. The “blade” seems a bit hard for my game. I’m not sure if it will be allowed, especially with me swinging it.

Awesome!
I had the people at the Renaissance Fair checking my weapon to make sure it was fake. This works really good for a costume. The handle is sturdy and the head is dense enough to keep its form, but soft enough to band and not hurt people if you do hit them with it. Love and would buy again!

Paint flakes off easily
This is a great tool for cosplay, but if you plan to use for actual play battle, like my kid uses it for, and why I bought it, expect the paint to flake off. Regardless, this is definitely something I would recommend.
