My nine-year-old autistic grandson chews on his shirts, headphone cords, straws, destroying everything that hits his incisors.Except for this Chewel.This thing is made of highly compressed material that gives but doesn't come apart. If there's a downside, it's the cord it's on; I've had to replace it as he chewed through it. LOL!However, the Chewel has already paid for itself in that its saved the cord and speaker on a $50 new pair of headphones he uses for online school.He chewed the part you speak into right down to the wiring. LOL!Now he gnaws on the Chewel. Thank goodness for it.

My son has Fragile x syndrome and autism. He constantly chews his shirts all day at school and they end up ruined. I bought this and he LOVES it. He chews it instead and he likes to rub it on his teeth to hear the squeak. The size was great for my 7 year old. It arrived quickly.

My son uses this to chew on for anxiety. He use to bite the backs of his hands, so It helps tremendously! I wish it was just a little bit stronger, however my son is a heavy chewer and he chews through these chewier. All in all it’s Great for someone that needs to bite down on for teething or anxiety.

My second grader loves these chewing necklaces-he had the dinosaur medallion and now the dragon. They last a long time which is important because my son is a constant chewer. And he’s comfortable with how they look which is even more important.
