If you want to be able to walk out in humidity with African American natural curly hair after a blow out and flat iron then this is the product for you. My hair lasts and has that bounce and blows in the wind when I use this. It looks just like I had a relaxer without using high damaging heat. I put this in, let my hair air dry or I use my dryer with the comb attachment or brush using the nozzle and flat iron with my professional GHD or the adjustable temp iron at 425 degrees that my hubby gave me from Sam's. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT use the straightening kits that promise to loosen your curl and keep your hair straight while you transition. I have used those and I have HORRIBLE results with my hair swelling, reverting and never got that bone straight, just left my stylist feeling. I have experimented with the Carol's Daughter Chocolate Smoothing Kit, Mizani Thermasmooth Kit and the Beautiful Texture Kit. DON'T USE THEM. Beautiful Texture's made my hair swell and loosened my curl pattern and Mizani weighed it down, the Carol's Daughter was not even memorable. Neither kit made my hair swing. With Surface Bliss Smoothing Creme my hair looks like I had a fresh relaxer for you transitioning girls and for all others my hair DOES NOT SWELL in humidity. Of course your hair will revert faster at the roots because of the heat and sweating but the rest of my hair stays straight until I shampoo it again. This is the absolutely best thing I have found to keep my hair from swelling. Love, love, love. It comes in a small package and I was originally put off by the price but it is worth every penny! Nothing else worked as well to keep my hair straight and it can be applied to wet or dry hair.

This cream works so well! Use it on damp hair when you blow dry. It smooths and adds shine to my wavy dry hair. The best I’ve tried.

This product is great. A little bit gives my hair body and also takes the flyaways away in the winter months. I’ve used it on both damp and dry hair.

Was looking for something to use before I blow dry to keep my fly aways down. My hair looks so much better when using this prior to blow drying. I will continue to use this product.

As I age and my hair curly/coily has grown thinner, I've had it cut shorter and wear it naturally curly. I wet-style after shampoo, then mostly air-dry. It's hassle free when you use the right products. Since I discovered Surface Bliss, I have gradually adopted Surface Awaken Thickening Cream, and Surface Curls Smoothing Cream as well. The Smoothing Cream is for blow drying but it works equally as well as a curly leave-in. After cleansing and conditioning, I blot hair and scrunch in the Awaken Thickening Cream mostly to my front crown. Then scrunch in the Curls Smoothing Cream, and finish with the Bliss Cream. Sounds like a lot but doesn't weigh down my hair at all! Devacurl Styling Cream was my gold standard , but the Surface products clump my curls just as well, are lighter, and give my curls more bounce!. For second and third day hair I scrunch a dime-sized dollop of Bliss cream into my dry hair to soften, refresh and style. I am transitioning to Surface for styling. Unlike most curly girls, I don't use gel. I use Acquage Transforming Paste for lift and sculpting. Next purchase I'll try either the Surface Taffy Whip or the Sculpting Paste.

Just a little bit goes a long way. Use this product when blow drying my hair and it makes my hair feel super smooth. Recommend for anyone who has frizzy hair.

I received a sample of this hair product within other order I placed. I have short, thin hair. I usually have to use 2-3 hair products to get fullness to my hair. Funny thing is, it is sold as a "smoother". I just ordered two of these, to keep one on back up. I do not want to run out. It has replaced all my other hair products. Love it!

I LOVE how light this product is! I have hair down to my midback, and just a dime-sized amount is all I need to lock in moisture while I style! This seems to help reduce oil buildup on day 2, too! I use it after every wash while my hair is still wet/damp, and it does wonders to keep your hair from frizzing up while blow drying! Great smell and quite a bit of product in the tube! I've been using it for a couple of months now 3-4 times a week and still have more than half the bottle left!
