Ordered more than one of these - one showed signs of falling apart all too soon and one fell apart whilst in use (!) resulting in a nasty fall for the elderly person using it. Not just one faulty item but clearly a bad product without exception.

This is such as useful portable seat to take when out for a walk, visiting gardens etc. when seating may not be readily available. It is easily carried and lightweight. Useful at airports when queueing at various checkouts and can be placed in the above seating area as it is small and folds flat.

Just the job ideal for carrying leaning on and sitting on when stuck in queue, which, is why I got in the first place, all round good design and it supports my slim 16.5 stones with no problem and although, if I say so myself, my backside fitted into the seated area without pinching either side, which, on some of these types of seats does happen, the pinching I mean not my bum fitting, so overall very pleased

So far just tried it out at home. Plan to take it on holiday as I have bad knees and cannot stand for long nor get down to sit or lie on a beach! Think it will help manoeuvre me out if a sunbed too ( using handles for leverage). Good height to get on and off..normal seat height. Wide enough for my buxom hips. Too slim to be a comfortable seat for any great length of time I think but thats not its purpose. Handles have a good soft grip and the height, folded, is fine to use as for walking support so you can leave the usual walking stick behind.

After using stick for 3 days, 1 rubber came off leg, and was lost in street somewhere. I requested a new one which arrived 1 day after I went away for a few days - very conscious that rubberless leg was inclined to slip when walking with it. A few days later another rubber came off leg of stool. A new one was quickly dispatched to me, but I was told to glue rubbers on legs of stool - surely these rubbers should have been very secure in the first place, especially as this stool/stick is for people with walking problems!!! However using stick and stool where necessary was very satisfactorywhen all rubbers were in place.

Seat material flimsy , fabric failed after a couple of uses , tried to return the item to the seller and received two suprious reasons to reject my claim !Will have to consider other means of redress - avoid this seller

This is a good seat but dangerous.My second replacement has again split and I’m unable to use it fo red feat of falling.I’m not overweight and can provide photos of seat 1 snd 2

absolutely fantastic bit of kit !!!!! love the way the seat has a velcro strap to wrap it up and prevent the seat from opening up when your using it as a walker, and love the soft touch rubber on the handles which make it more comfortable as a walker, only 1 problem the plastic feet are hard and slippery which is not good for a walker, pull them off and replace with big rubbery ones from the haberdashery / timpson key cutters or DIY shops for about £2, well worth it
