What is the accuracy of the squares?

I contacted Grizzly about the accuracy, their response: "they are going to be highly accurate and manufactured to DIN 875-1 standards"

Use the "1" column for the specifications. Yes, they are in metric because DIN is the Deutsches Institut für Normung (English: German Institute for Standardization)

how are the reviewers checking for stainless steel and squareness?

If you have a good flat surface (stone countertop could work, if not a surface plate) you can simply put two squares back-to-back flush against each other, and see if any light appears between the top or bottom of the blades (or anywhere along the middle, if they are not accurately flat). This can be a very sensitive test if all surfaces are accurately flat.  Doing one such comparison only shows that two squares add to 180, not necessarily that each is 90, but you can prove that by comparing each with a third square.

What is the accuracy of the squares?

I can not give an accuracy measurement as I no longer have access to surface plate and height gage.  However, compared to my other equipment, I would estimate within 0.001" - 0.002" for the 7" square.

The overall dimensions for each square are as follows:7.25" x 4.25",  5" x 3.25",  4" x 2.75",  3" x 2.25"All three of the smaller squares are made from 0.75" wide material. The large square is made from 1" wide material. Hope this helps.
