I purchased this intercom for my 46 Aeronca Champ. Operationally it does the job very well. Battery life is quite long. Considering that I only use it for a couple of hours per week, battery life is measured in months. Audio is clear, and operation of controls is straighforward. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is its lack of mounting arrangement. It would benefit from a dedicated bracket for mounting on either the side wall or the panel. I was able to make a mount from a modified plastic container that works well for the forward left side wall.
