Awesome earphones with long battery life and great noise cancelling
I've had these for a few days now and I'm mightly impressed by them. On opening the Amazon box, you're presented with a nice, sleek package that feels good quality, reflecting the overall price. Inside, there's a number of different ear buds so that you can adjust the headphones to fit snuggly into your ears - vital for good noise cancelling capability. Also included are a pair of 'wing tips' that help hold the earphones even more solidly in place. I found that the earphones by themselves sat pretty soundly in my ear, putting on the easy to add and remove wingtips mad them so secure I don't my 3 year old son could've dislodged them. I was a bit worried about these being sitting on your neck and thought they might annoy me or have a noticable weight difference. On the contrary, it was actually quite nice to have less bulk in my ear and once you're wearing them, you don't notice the middle part sitting on your neck. It gives you a degree of security that if an earphone was to fall out (which it hasn't) it's not going to go bouncing down the street. Also, the fact that it's not just a flimsy piece of wire holding them together means that they never get tangled up which is great. Sounds quality is very good, again what you would expect to get from a pair of good quality headphones. Nice, clear sounds with good deep bass and crisp treble notes. The app allows you to adjust the headphones to be bass or treble biased. I found the bass heavy setting perfect for my tastes. The active noise cancelling is surprisingly good for an in-ear headset. Having read some of the reviews, I think that must've been trying something else! On the app, you have the ability to set it to one of 3 noise cancelling settings. I tried my earphones in the garage when I was sitting on my noisy bike trainer with a large fan going in the background. The ANC reduced this to whisper in the background so pretty effective. I also tried it out when vaccuuming the house! Flicking between the different levels of noise cancellation really helps to highlight the difference that it makes. I haven't yet tried the automatic ANC which adjusts the level based on your movement levels (presumably to stop you walking out in the road without hearing a car coming!) but that sounds like a good feature. They're never going to be as effective as a top of the range over-ear set of headphones, but for in-ear ones, they do the job really well. The other added bonus of the battery being mounted on the joining nexk part is the battery life that you get. When the headphones arrived, they had about 10% charge in them. It took not long over an hour to get to a full charge and I then went on my bike trainer using them at about 70% volume with full noise cancelling on for about 2 hours. Surprisingly this only used just under 20% of the battery sound so it aligns with the stated 10 hour battery life - I had assumed this would be less on full ANC. Finally, the controls are good to use. Shaped and raised so you know if you're pressing the volume up/down button or the main action button that allows you to move between track AND enable your phone's voice control. I've also taken calls on the phone and this works as well as you would expect it to. As I wear these for exercising (bike trainer and running), the external controls and the fact that they are sweatproof is also a pretty big deal for me. Having ruined a few pairs of Apple ear buds with sweat dripping down the wires to the controls, this was a big factor in my decision to buy these over other makes. Overall, reallly please with my purchased. Lightweight and great quality. A really good, clear range of sounds and really effectvie noise cancellation. Definite recommendation to buy

Noise cancelling ineffective for me
I lost my Bose in ear noise cancelling earphones I have had for over 2 years and didn't want to pay out another £250 to replace them. The Libratone looked very stylish with a well thought out design, and the sound was quite good. For me, THE NOISE CANCELLING WAS NON-EXISTENT COMPARED TO THE BOSE. With the Bose, if I was out walking the sound of passing cars was like a really quiet swish you might expect in a Science Fiction movie. With these Libratone Track+ ones I could practically hear the car as normal. You can download an app for fuller control of features of the Libratone, but there are a lot of complaints about Location information having to be shared which many reviewers do not like but Libratone say they have not choice about. I tried this but it did improve things at all. If you want wireless earphones with a well-thought out control system which are comfortable to wear and which have a good sound, these are fine. If noise-cancelling is important for you, I think you will be disappointed. I have given battery life 5 stars to be fair, but I only used them for about 2 hours before I returned them. I have given in, and my new Bose are on the way - with the Samsung/Android version being MUCH more expensive than the i-phone version - why?

Great product, however issues with reliability
Earphones are probably the best I've had the pleasure of wearing. The noise cancelling is awesome, it negates the majority of the noise on the tube where portions of the Network get up to over 100 decibels. Battery life is pretty decent at around 5 hours with NC running. You also notice the quality of sound, especially with an APTx enabled device. However the biggest flaw in the product, is the reliability. I had my first pair replaced under warranty, whereby both sides volume decreased massively. I had a new pair sent out after a week of sending mine to Libratone. However in around a month, the replacement pair will also be sent back because of the left side cutting out completely.

Excellent set of noise cancelling earphones
I already own a pair of the Libratone Q Adapt on-ear headphones which are excellent (especially on long haul flights!), but I was wary of using them at the gym as I didn't want to ruin the material with sweat. I needed a way of drowning out the overly loud music at the gym and when I saw the Track+ earphones had been released, I decided to give them a go. The product is very well packaged with a selection of different sized earphone tips, an optional use retainer to help hold the earphones in your ear, charger cable and relevant documents. You can tell that this is a quality piece of equipment from the feel of the materials and seems to be well constructed. Pairing with my mobile phone was completed first time through the Libratone app and the connection has always been consistent and never dropped. The sound quality is excellent for such a small set of earphones, good bass, mids and trebles. The noise cancellation is very good, with options as to how strong you want it to be. I always have it set to the highest level and it does a good job at keeping the background noise and music to a minimum, allowing me to listen to music or videos at a sensible volume. Given that I always use the earphones with the highest level of noise cancelling, I have been pleasantly surprised with how well the battery has lasted. I don not need to charge them as much as I thought I would, which is a simple process via USB. I always struggle to find ear phones that fit and are comfortable, as I have relatively small ears. The selection of different sized ear phone tips were useful to find the tightest and most comfortable fit, although I find the use of the additional cover that fits into the crevices of your ear very helpful for ensuring they stay put and keep the pressure in my ear. This also ensures a good seal in my ear and helps with the noise cancellation. The one recommendation I have for improvement is that it would be useful to have a detachable plastic clip that can be placed on the wire that goes round the back of your neck, which you can then clip onto your clothes. This would help prevent them dangling down too much when you are on your back (i.e. when doing weights), but this is a minor point. As my wife stole my Q Adapt on-ear headphones for a recent holiday flight, I took the Track+ with me and again they were very good at reducing the background aircraft noise to a suitable level. It also helped to keep the noise from my children down to an acceptable level, I just feel sorry for the other passenegers! Overall a great pair of earphones which I have added to my growing collection of Libratone products. I would certainly buy them again and have been impressed with the quality of construction and sound.

Shame about the reliability...
I really like these earphones – slick design, nice feel with the silicon, buttons easy to access and select. The ANC worked really well (especially noticeable on tube journeys) although I could not get on with the Smart adaptive noise cancellation functionality but being able to adjust the ANC via the App was great. I spend a lot of time on phone calls and listen to music when not on the calls – sound quality on calls was awesome except in really windy outdoor conditions. The over the neck design allows me to leave one earpiece in when walking around or interacting with others and still be able to quickly answer a call. Battery life is pretty decent at around 4-5 hours with ANC running and I had no issues with connectivity to an iPhone. Music sound quality was also good IMO. Biggest flaw in the product, is the reliability. I had my first pair replaced under warranty when the left hand side started to cut in and out after about 9 months. The service from Libratone was very efficient – they agreed to send a new pair (arrived quickly) following a picture of the original pair cut in half. Sadly the new pair developed the same fault within a similar period. Now I do use them a lot – 5 days a week – but I am very careful with all my possessions and prefer to buy quality, look after them and enjoy a long service life. This was not he case with these and it is obviously a known problem as others have reported the same issue. I was able to squeeze and hold the silicon band in a particular place and get the earpiece working – so it appears to be a connection inside that develops a fault over time. Sadly my recent attempts at contact with Libratone to see what can be done have gone unanswered for more than a fortnight.

Superb noise cancelling
I have reviewed a number of Bluetooth earphone products from various manufacturers over the past few months. Some have been great, but I have always been of the opinion that unless you have an iPhone with no headphone jack, the need to have Bluetooth earphones is somewhat diminished. Although these Track+ earphones don’t offer the best sound reproduction on the market, they do have a killer feature. The noise cancellation properties really are second to none. I don’t think this type of technology could be implemented in standard wired earphones. My first impressions of the Track+ were positive. The packaging feels high quality and it definitely feels like a high end premium product. The design of the earphones is sublime and genuinely I struggle to identify any other product in the Bluetooth earphone segment with better build quality. The ear buds come in a number of different sizes and were more than adequate for my needs. Pairing is nice and easy, with pairing mode automatically initiated on first use. There are four buttons on the unit, controlling power and noise cancelling, volume and stop/start for audio. One major positive about the Track+ is the volume buttons which are raised plus and minus buttons, super easy to find when on the move. Also multiple devices can be paired at once which is a neat feature that’s often omitted from other products. As mentioned earlier, the sound reproduction is good but not the best available on the market. The bass is a little on the weaker side even with bass dialled up on Libratone’s app. It depends on your listening preferences. Otherwise detail is good and music is devoid of the harshness experienced when using cheaper earphones. It is a pleasant experience to listen to music using these earphones and I can sit for hours without feeling the need to take a break. Perfect! I have managed to reach the claimed 8 hours of battery life without any problems. Charging is quick using the micro usb port on the underside of the unit. On a side point I really wish Libratone had chosen to utilise the new USB type C standard because now I have to carry around two different cables instead of one. As mentioned earlier, the stand out feature of the Track+ is definitely the noise cancellation which is spookily good. I think that alone makes it ideal for commuters and nothing I have tried so far comes anywhere near this. Remember though, noise cancellation affects the battery life quite considerably, so unless you charge daily, use it conservatively!

Fully featured wireless earbuds I’ve waited a long time for. Excellent.
Used BT earphones for years, going back to 2011 and the then excellent Sony MW600. They were eventually replaced by Plantronics Backbeat Go 2’s. Lately I’ve been using a combination of AirPods for convenience and quiet environments, and BeatsX for other situations. Bose QC35 in the house and on very long trips when I can be bothered to carry them. Nearest comparison to the Track+ would be the BeatsX which I’ve been reasonably satisfied with for a while now, with a few niggles (the stupidly long wire my biggest beef). Impressions after 2 days of using these - the Track+ are imo far better than the BeatsX. Better sound quality (to my ears, possibly aided by the noise cancellation in noisy environment), better form factor (a reasonably lengthed wire!), IPX4 water resistance (BeatsX aren’t officially water resistant) and crucially two defining features of the Track+ that the BeatsX lack; -Noise Cancellation. I wasn’t expecting too much from the Track+ due to how slight the wire and form of the device is. Most other NC wireless buds have a box attached or a neck band. These have neither and still deliver good NC. It’s not as good as the Bose QC35 I also use, but that’s inevitable as they’re much bigger and a different category of headphone. But the NC really DOES make a difference on these, and switching between the different levels is very easy. I’ve used them for a couple of car journeys and a train trip and it’s pretty effective at drowning out wind, hums and whirs. -They stay connected to two devices at once eg I can listen on my phone, pause, and resume something on my iPad and they just work. No dipping into BT settings to press the connect button. Bose products do this, blows my mind that AirPods and BeatsX DON’T do this despite the supposedly superior W1 chip in those (namely, you have to select them in a connection dialogue when alternating between iPhone/iPad). Battery life lives up to the advertised amount so far. 6 hours with max NC, 8 with little/none. I use them with max NC mostly and in my entirely unscientific guess, I’m getting over 6 hours as advertised. Enough for my usage for a day, and I’ll likely be charging them daily. Sadly uses micro USB. USB C would have been nice, but at least they do charge very quickly regardless. Fit fine in my ears, but that’s a hard one to judge as everyone is different. All in all, really pleased with this purchase. Been wanting noise cancellation in this form factor for ages and the Track+ definitely deliver. EDIT: I notice another review claiming NC is non existent. This is demonstrably absolute twaddle. In fact, a recent update increased the NC to -23db. I’m sat typing this on a train, and switching NC off and makes a BIG difference. Choose who you want to believe, heh.

Great sound poor build quality
Great headphones but this is the second pair that have failed. There is some problem with the internal wiring and yet again I only have sound in one ear. This is very disappointing given the cost of these. Not sure I’ll be buying this product again - sorry Libratone but you need to sort out your quality.
