Useful as a third hand when you might normally need two people.I find these especially useful for use as a mini jack where I need to raise something slightly off the floor, such as a washing machine or fridge when I need to adjust their feet when, because of the weight pushing down on the feet it makes them difficult to adjust in normal circumstances.These air bags are surprisingly powerful. Pumping them up is easy, with no force needed. The bags don't inflate that much, but it is sufficient to lift an item a short height for access. Depending on the size of the object you want to raise, using two bags may be easier. A large bag placed under the centre front of a washing machine will raise the machine enough to get at the feet.The bags are tough, but be careful that there are no sharp edges (eg. jagged metal) on the surface you are trying to lift.As with any jacks, always make sure that your hand will not got trapped should an air bag suddenly deflate for whatever reason. Like with a car, it is better to use the air bag to raise the item, then wedge something solid (eg. a piece of wood) under the item to hold it in place.

The VINTEAM Air Wedge Bag set arrived simply packed in a plain cardboard box.In the set you get three different sized inflatable bags with widths of 120mm, 153mm and 280mm, each with a built in pump for inflation, along with a set of four plastic wedges.Each bag has a lifting capacity of up to 400 lbs and can facilitate a lift of up to up to 6cm in height.Bags are made from a tough rubberised material and feature an internal metal plate to enable sliding into tight spaces.In use the bags make it very easy for a single person to align doors or any other heavy object by simply pressing the pump bulb with your foot and then sliding a plastic wedge into position.A great addition to the home DIYers toolkit.

Coming in plain brown boxing these open to some very rugged and quality wedge bags and have been useful all around the reduxing of our house. They pump up fine and havent given out on the heaviest of weights so far until i twisted the release vale. Made from solid materials and metals all round.In the bedrooms they lifted filled wardrobes with ease. Helped for moving the fridge for an easy access to the back and while it wasnt the heaviest job (thankfully to the mix the smaller bags were better here) helped one of those annoying double corner doors to be re-fixed back on correctly by just 1 person.

This set includes three separately sized air shims that are useful for lifting different sized items. They are each rated as being suitable for lifting items weighing up to 300lbs, which is 136KG; so I’m not sure why they are advertised as being for loads of up to 200KG. 136KG is still a fair amount though and considerably more than a washing machine, so that’s fine with me.The air shims feel well made and robust. The hand pump works fine, although it’s not as easy to pump as some other air shims I’ve used and it requires a few more compressions to inflate the air pocket. An integrated pressure release valve that sits next to the ball pump does a good job of locking and releasing the air (after a quick turn), and the air shims inflate to an inch and a half or so, which is enough to get the included plastic wedges underneath the item being lifted. The wedges are simple, not hugely robust and probably the weakest part of the set, but they held my washing machine off the ground ok and they’re a nice additional thing to have.A decent set.

These were great for when I needed to re-set my door as it was starting to droop on its hinge. Rather than having to find the right number of newspapers or books I simply put one of these wedge bags under the door and pumped it up. You need to tighten the screw on the pump tube first so that air does not escape but a few turns did the job to stop any leakage.The bags are strong and feels like a hard wearing material so should last for quite a few more DIY jobs. The bags are supposed to lift 200kg so I tried this under my washing machine and it definitely did the job lifting the front clear of the floor. I opted to press the air pump with my foot to make things a little easier. I was a little worried that it might burst but I had no problems at all. Excellent product.

These are so useful for lifting items off the floor soo that you can get a hand underneath, or for when requiring a slight raise in order to fix something. Whats best is that they require no strength whatsoever and rely on the incredible power of air. Highly recommended.

These inflatable wedges seem to work well - they hold onto the air well. I tested this on our washing machine which must weight at least 50-60kg and it worked fine.The wedges are fairly cheap and small but that is not the main reason to get this set.I would always advise using wooden blocks or wedges as a back up.Happy to recommend.

These are a really simple item, so it's difficult to go on about them too long.Primarily used for wedging open car doors, non-destructively, when you need to gain access to a locked vehicle .... that you legally have the right to, obviously. They are well welted and hold pressure well. The hand pump has a lock-off release valve that also works well enough.You can use these for prying apart other surfaces too. I've had a collapsed pallet that was too low to accept a pallet lift or even a crowbar. These were able to lift it enough to get the pallet truck under it.Having two in a pack is handy because if you're using for a car door you'll need both. Slide the first in at the far edge of the door (usually the B pillar), pump it up then use the remaining wedge further along the door toward the A pillar. Hopefully you then have enough room for a reach tool to operate the door lock button.Perfectly good for their intended use. Would happily recommend to a friend.
