Larger than expected
Being larger is actually no detriment, it allows me to mount a backing board inside and space out components, the main thing is to remember not to overtighten the lid screws they engage on a single spiral of thread which I imagine could easily strip if overtightened. As far as being weatherproof only the mounting screws to the wall look to be possible points of entry for water, something to keep an eye on. Along with the cable glands purchased at the same time it looks a very professional set-up , very pleased

Great for wall mounting extension leads
Nothing to dislike. Fitted a backboard inside so I could mount extension leads, a 48v power supply and a Bluetooth audio converter for a covered outside bar area. All fitted in neatly and very solid.

Purchased to house my Solar Inverter
Nice strong plastic, have cut a couple holes for fans, has all the room i need for the inverter and it's cables. Can even hinge the cover on 2 screws at a time for easy access.

Decent
Great size for an exterior controller unit for an automatic door I installed plenty of space easy to open and plenty of fixing holes to take your pick from.

I used this to install an indoor wifi router (Asus ROG) outside. Works like a charm, nice and spacious, I could even straighten the antennas. Assembly is easy, I love that you can open the door without taking it off (only 2 screws out, and 2 to loosen). Also looks ok as far as "design" for an IP box, the sealing is sturdy, solid and tight. Pricing is realistic, this thing is big. I'm 100% satisfied, will buy the exact same again if needed.

La caja está muy bien terminada, con sus gomas que la hacen estanca. Veremos a ver con el paso del tiempo a la intemperie, el sol y el agua lo que la desgastan. Pero a simple vista tiene muy buena pinta.

Una scatola di derivazione ottima per essere montata all'esterno. Le ho prese per sostituire altre scatole che purtroppo avevano fatto penetrare acqua al loro interno. Queste sembrano veramente impermeabili ma vedremo nel tempo. Per ora do 5 stelle
