Unscented - Organic Grass-fed Tallow Balm - Perfect for Sensative Skin

Works well. Great value for the cost. Packaging is cute. My teenage son loves it.

It is a nice basic balm. It hydrates well enough but does not do a lot for me. I have dermatitis and it helps hydrate a bit.

This balm is quite effective at hydrating skin that I really only need to use a little bit each night. It's unscented but you can smell the two ingredients. I think it's great that there are no artificial other ingredients, but it does mean you need to use consistently as I don't expect it to last long without use. I imagine it could go bad faster than other balms. I've been using for over a month and still have a decent amount left in the jar. Again, little goes a long way. I do avoid using it in the areas that I tend to get clogged pores easily though. This is better for people with more dry skin than oily.

I have dry and oily skin (depending on the zone of my face) I have heard a ton about beef tallow and wanted something for the winter to keep my skin full of moisture but wouldn’t clog me up. I have to say I LOVED the set up of the packaging and they seemed to put a lot of thought into the design of their product which I really appreciated especially when compared to the cost. The tallow glides onto the skin and melts leaving your skin intensely hydrated and rich. I use this at night so it has time to sink into my skin without me touching my face like I do during the day. This will definitely last a long time as you need less than a pea sized amount and that covers my entire face and the underside of my neck! I’ve used for about a week and haven’t had any breakouts or acne outside of my normal jawline acne which has stayed the same. My pores haven’t clogged but nor have they minimized they have stayed the same 👍

This is my first time trying a beff tallow balm. It is unscented, and I wish it did have a fragrance, because I don't like the natural scent. It doesn't smell awful, but it's not a pleasant scent, either. I am not going to use this on my face because I just don't like the way it smells. I will, however, use it on my hands, which tend to get dry and crack in the winter. I think it will be good for that, as it is pretty hydrating. It feels greasy at first, but then absorbs and feels ok. I appreciate that it's from a small business. Would be interested in a scented version of this if they ever make one.

I’ve used Hello Selah Tallow Balm for about a week. First of all, it arrived in a lovely box and would be very giftable. I don’t detect any scent of beef. It is pretty heavy – and I have dry skin, so that’s saying something. I don’t use it in the morning, but I have been putting it on nightly. I try apply it an hour before bed, and it absorbs pretty much completely by then. I haven’t had any problems with clogged pores or breakouts. I’ve never tried tallow before, but I think it could be useful for someone with severely chapped or dry skin or in winter, when you need a bit more hydration.

Because of my job I wear nitrile gloves and wash my hands a lot and I find that they tend to get dry. Regular hand lotions don't work because I have to reapply so often but then I discovered tallow balms and because they're fatty they make a huge difference. I like to apply one before I put on my gloves and it's like a mini-hand spa treatment. This one is really nice because it's just grass fed tallow and jojoba oil. Nothing else no added fragrances. It smells like tallow which has a pretty distinct smell that I can't quite describe maybe a little meaty but not in a bad way at all. My hands feel super soft and conditioned after I use it and I put it on several times a day. The size is perfect for slipping into a scrub pocket. The presentation was super nice. I would consider it giftable, and might get some for some of my coworkers who are in the same boat as I am.

This tallow balm is made with great, healthy ingredients -- the tallow is from grass-fed animals which makes it "clean." Aside from that, it's very moisturizing and rich, and I like to apply it to my elbows when they get dry. It sinks into the skin in seconds and doesn't leave a weird, greasy feeling behind. Very nice!
