My PERLA is a PEARL. 🚲
Color absolutely beautiful. Great seat. Perfect bike for this old lady whose 64 years are the new 40. At least that's the goal. I love it.

I love this bike
I love this bike! I get compliments everywhere I go :)Pros - I was not very comfortable biking, so I wanted a cruiser, and I'm glad I got this one. The wide tires are stable so I can go over bumps or whatever in the road and not worry about it. The multiple gears are a requirement for riding in CA (lots of hills), and have worked nicely. I have noticed some issues with the gears not shifting as smootly as I might expect them to (but I don't ride a lot of bikes so this could just be normal), but sometimes it seems like there's a long delay before it actually shifts. I had one issue so far with the chain popping off the gear while riding (was trying to shift), not sure what causes this (maybe it was me), but it was easy enough to pop back on and keep riding. The seat is super comfortable!Cons - I feel like this bike cannot be tightened as securely as it should be... I've tightened everything as much as possible (also took it to a bike shop) and its fine for riding (I ride about 3 miles to school every day). However, I typically get off via the step through, and after a few times, the seat is always crooked. The seat is a quick release, so its easy to pop and move it back, but it has to be done frequently.I've also had similar problems with the handlebars. I think its finally tight enough now, but it took a lot of careful adjusting. The handle bar angle is adjustable, there is a piece in the middle that holds it in place, but since its just a round clamp around the middle of the bar (not through it), to hold handlebars up, theres the danger of the handlebars rotating downwards (this happened once and luckily I was just riding around my driveway, probably would have had an accident if I were in a bikelane on the road). So I would also recommend riding with a compact bike tool kit in your bag in case this happens, so you can tighten or fix it on the road. This may be an effect of most cruisers, or possibly because this costs $300 less than some of the nice cruisers. But I also feel similarly about most of the adjustments on the bike - i.e. I adjust the brakes and then over time, they always seem to slip slowly and need re-adjustment.Overall, love the bike and glad I started with it. Most people buy bikes and never ride them, so its not worth spending a ton of money. 100% perfect for beach or easy rides in parks and trails. If I keep commuting by bike, I might consider a different one in the future, but I'm happy with this purchase so far.

Came broken
Though the bike itself is very pretty, I have had nothing but problems with it. I still haven't been able to get it to a point where it can be ridden. First, the blade where the chain attached came bent so the chain does not stay on. Second, the back tire came with a giant tear in it. I took the bike into a mechanic and spent over $60 to get it looked at at purchase a new disk. I put the new disk on the bike and attached the chain, but it still won't ride. I am very disappointed and would suggest not purchasing from this seller or this bike.

Cool Looking Beach Cruiser
It looks cool. If you are putting it together yourself, prepare for at least an hour if you aren’t familiar with bike assembly. It seems like it would be an easy and logical explanation of directions. However, the brakes rubbing, sliding the front tire in, and then readjusting the brakes in the back, can be a bit of a challenge. It was done of course, and works great, but it’s not a process of ripping the bike out of the box, adjusting the seat, and riding off into the sunset. It’s more like...her yelling something is rubbing (her brakes). as she bounces off the curb of the driveway and then forgets she’s not a preschooler anymore, and her brakes are now at her fingers...good times.Lots of readjusting, but once it’s done, it’s great. The color is vibrant but not too bright. The seat is fairly comfortable. No scratches or dings. Doesn’t come with the bell or lock. The back where her lock is situated is close to 12 inches, so you could attach a small square basket in the back. Most of the baskets you see for the front of the bike, you can find at Target really cheap.

Great after a little twerking :)
Daughter Loves it !! Arrived safe and sound!! Harder to assemble than you think. Wheels didn't spin because brakes not adjusted right. Had to go to youtube & watch a video on how to adjust them - NORTHROCK BIKES video was Awesome. Proper tools too. Socket Set and Proper Allen Set

Well worth the money and very well made...
Very nice bike. The wife loves it, the aqua color is beautiful and the paint looks to be of good quality. Assembly was fairly easy, if you are mechanically inclined. It shifts very smoothly and the breaks are very good also. The handle bars are very comfortable for older people who likes to sit up and not have to lean over to hold to it. The seat is very comfortable also, not so narrow and somewhat soft. The cons are, if you plan to carry the bike on a bike rack, be aware it is a steel bike and fairly heavy. I'm am a gentleman of age, and it's a little heavy to lift the bike and put on our carrier that is mounted to our camper. I was aware the bike is made of steel before I purchased, so I'm not complaining.

Not the Greatest
My husband put this bike together for me yesterday. It took him most of the afternoon, about four hours. He said there was no instruction manual. There was an operational manual. I tried it out and thought wow, I thought Schwin bicycles were supposed to be top of the line? It is very cheaply made. Parts are super thin and almost fragile seeming, like the fender. This bike is not meant for tall people. Although the seat is adjustable, if you are taller than 5'7 I do not recommend this bike! It is the ratio between the seat and the handlebars that makes it hard for taller people. This bike would be good for 8-14 year olds. When turning around in a cup-de-sac, my foot hit the front tire. It happened again when I was taking a sharp turn onto a sidewalk so it is something I will have to get used to and adjust the placement of my foot on the peddle. I guess you get what you pay for. This bike looks great yet is bottom of the line in terms of quality and performance. Do not recommend.

Don’t waste your money...
Bike arrived with partial box open and bike was dented. Scratched. And had missing bolts. All I wanted was a nice bike to take my son for bike rides with. Not impressed. Can’t even put the seat on because there’s nothing to attach it too...and the back tire WAS FLAT!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡 Also my front tire is warped.

Not Impressed
Very poor workmanship, front and rear wheel bearings, steering hub and pedal crank bearings , all felt crunchy ,had to adjust and lubricate them to make them smooth again. Rear tube would not hold air , had to replace it . Shipping was horrible , took two weeks to receive this order .
