Works great with R5 Mark 2. Love USB C charging
Works perfectly with my Canon R5 Mark 2. it's really nice they have a USB-C charging slot too, won't have to worry about misplacing a stupid charger.

These seem to actually work. I run a LOT of canon cameras, including R6m2.
These actually seem to work fully as LP-E6P batteries. Which the Canon variety are a bit hard to get right now. I know that Canon probably isn't happy that these work well - but they do. Shelf charge retention (but also - keep your batteries around 60-75% when storing! Storing any LiIons at 100% or 0% will kill them!) -- is very good. (The folks who said they had them lose charge after a few hours: I saw this after the first initial charge was done via USB-C. Do your first charge to 100% using the Canon charger or a non-USB charger, and after that, they will hold charge - in my case for weeks now. Probably internal charger calibration or something.)R5m2 recognizes them fully as LP-E6Ps and performs just how they should. The battery meter is a nice plus too to see where they're at. USB-C charging I use "in a pinch" when in the field, but it's definitely nice to have.

Great R5C cheat code batteries!
These 100% will run the R5C at 8k60. So far, I've only pushed one singularly for about 30-45 mins on the R5C. It ran 8k60 flawlessly. When doubled up in the BGR-10 they're a cheat code for the R5C. So far I've gotten a similar use-time to my Canon LP6EN's, when they were still usable.

Convenient, Well Designed, and Works Well
Very well designed and convenient battery. No charger is required since you can plug the actual battery in using the included cord. It lights up to show progress while charging, but you can also tap it to show the charge when it is not connected to anything. The battery has a touch sensitive button that will light up when touched to show you how full or empty the battery is. You do not have to put it in a camera or charger to see the capacity, you can tap it and know instantly whether you can use it or not. This feature is great for on-the-go shooting.Despite having a touch sensitive button, the button is flush and does not activate when inside the camera which is a plus.

100% compatible with Canon R5 Mark II
UPDATE! Unlike Canon LP-E6P batteries that won't recharge unless discharged to about 87%, these batteries will recharge to 100% regardless of short usage. These LP-E6P batteries charge via USB-C (which also works with a charging bank), I fitted them into the Canon BG-R20 Battery Grip on my Canon R5 Mii, and they worked flawlessly. As a sports photographer, these batteries imposed no limitations on the camera's functionality. The best part is the 50% savings compared to the exorbitantly priced Canon LP-E6P brand, which is a boom for my wallet. Highly recommended!

Passes as an LP-E6P on the new Canon R5II
I was a little hesitant in believing these would be fully functional in the Canon R5 Mark II, If you try using a LP-E6N or NR they will not allow pre capture, and many video features.I first put these on my EOM Canon Chargers and got the fast blinking on both of them. I took them off and put them back on, and they seemed to charge just fine. They did take a while to fully charge, which was surprising since they were at least 50% when I received them according to their display. A few hours later they did charge to 100%. I added them in my R5 Mark II, and indeed no limits were displayed on the screen. I tested the pre-capture and indeed it works perfectly. The only negative that I can say is that both batteries read as the same serial under battery info, but I really don't care about that. I haven't put them through the paces of seeing how long they last comparatively to their OEM counterpart, but they are rated at 2600mAh, so hopefully they will last at least the same. I am very happy as these are about half of the OEM batteries. I would recommend them.

Very disappointing
Based on the generally good reviews for this 3rd party battery, I hoped that maybe it avoided the pitfalls of many other non-Canon batteries that demonstrate lower-than-claimed capacities and reduced run times. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I tested four of these batteries in the field and my results were consistent: They deplete rapidly in use or even when in my R5 with the power off. Their performance isn't close to a genuine Canon OEM LP-E6P battery; in fact, they barely keep up with the original Canon LP-E6 batteries I purchased 13 years ago.My R5 does recognize these batteries as LP-E6P batteries but it is worth noting that they all show up in the battery menu with the same serial number. If you use your Canon body to track your batteries, know that you can't with these METACUCU batteries. It sees them all as the same battery. These take an almost identical time to charge to 100%, whether you are using Canon's OEM charger or directly connecting to a USB-C charger. Either way, they show as fully charged to 100% when inserted into my R5. This fact left me optimistic that these METACUCU batteries might finally be a worthy replacement. They are not.Canon shooters are at a disadvantage when it comes to their battery system. Despite a clear demand from consumers, Canon refuses to produce a compact USB charger—much less one that charges two batteries at once. This leaves travelers in a bind. The only choice is to carry multiple bulky slow Canon chargers when traveling if you want to charge more than one battery at a time. There are many compact third-party options available that charge multiple LP-E6 batteries via USB. Unfortunately, I have yet to find one that fully charges the latest LP-E6NH and LP-E6P variations to 100%. It's really an unfortunate situation for Canon customers, and a legitimate reason to consider other brands when choosing a camera ecosystem. The bottom line: I can't recommend these batteries to anyone. One star.
