Great for ESO
Bought this for my husband’s third monitor, it’s great for ESO & games of that format. The free tv is pretty cool with the remote. It is HEAVY! Very heavy. Monitor along with the stand.

Pricey but worth it for top end OLED
Such a gorgeous and vibrant screen. Spent way too long looking for an OLED and decided to trust Rtings.com as they tested tons of models. They rated this Samsung as the best 4K monitor and the best OLED monitor.Samsung software is decent. Power brick isn't too huge. Settings aren't too terrible to figure out and there are many options.Originally was going to get a 34" ultrawide but at the time they were only in 1440p resolution and I prefer the taller screen as it turns out.Text clarity is fantastic compared to most OLED's. Oh and it comes with a remote which is fun.

Gorgeous OLED Display — Just One Small Quirk
I’ve been using the Samsung 32" Odyssey OLED G8 mainly for gaming, and overall, I’m really happy with it. The picture quality is stunning — vibrant colors, deep blacks, and sharp details. Playing Destiny 2 on this thing is a whole new experience. The scenery looks incredible, and the OLED panel really brings everything to life.Pros:- Fantastic image quality. Colors are rich and vibrant — perfect for immersive games like Destiny 2.- Built-in speakers. Surprisingly decent sound if you don’t want to use headphones or external speakers all the time.- Solid value for what you get. It’s a 4K OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and Smart Monitor features — pretty rare at this price point, especially if you catch it on sale.Cons:- Occasional black screen issue. About once a night, the screen briefly goes black for a second or two and then comes back. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. It might be related to running games below the native 4K resolution, which can sometimes cause minor hiccups. If you want a beautiful, feature-packed OLED display that’s great for both gaming and media, this is definitely one to consider.

Outstanding Monitor, Amazing Picture, Would Have Returned If Not For 3rd Party Software
TLDR; Intentional stupid interface decision would have made me return it if not for 3rd party software. Great monitor otherwise.Let’s start with why the 1 star. One of the dumbest choices I have ever seen in software and this was an active choice. Whenever the monitor wakes up, WHENEVER, you get the game bar popup. The first picture. That stays on the screen for 5 to 10 seconds. Oh well annoying but whatever. But it goes away and then you get the second popup for another 10 seconds. A popup telling you how to bring the game bar up. Cool a reminder when you are new to the monitor, not bad. Except no, someone thought, they may forget, we need to pop this up EVERYTIME. I've also been through three firmware versions since I have had it and it hasn't changed. So, every time your monitor wakes you either wait 20 seconds with junk on your screen or you have to get the remote and press back twice. Trash design. I would have started the return the same day because of the only problem I have found the monitor and it was an intentional choice. The only reason I didn't was because I found a fix. You either buy a service remote or you use a free third-party app (ColorControl) to access the service menu and turn off that popup. If you have made it this far, I love the monitor otherwise, I would have given it a 5/5, great picture and everything, a massive step up from my old LCD. I do dislike that it is more smart TV than monitor (I don't need all the IoT things on a computer monitor), but I knew what I was buying into with Samsung. So every time your monitor wakes you either wait 20 seconds with junk on your screen or you have to get the remote and press back twice. So sad to have to write a negative review for this beautifully crafted monitor.Design and Build Quality - S Tier. It's super sleek and done right. Size doesn't feel bulky. Nothing else like it out there.Display - C Tier. They use some sort of matte antiglare that makes for slight light scattering. It's truly a shame to mask over an excellent display with this cheap anti-glare technology.Functionality - F Tier. Be prepared to have huge ugly user interface pop up in front of you each time you wake your monitor from sleep. OLED monitors sleep very quickly to reduce burn-in, so this will be very often. They've got to fix their software of this monitor, it's currently like a TV. Absolutely terrible user experience.

Great Color and a Gaming Downfall
Largest Monitor ever used, and can take some time to get used to it! Colors look great overall, one thing I noticed is that even with 4k white text looks kinda strange at first (especially if your close to the monitor for reading). White text has a Blue tint, but you simply need to adjust the monitor warmth.Biggest downfall for me is the consistent flickering every 30 minutes or so. As I said it is not all the time, but every once in a while it will cut out for ~2 seconds then come right back on (using PC specifically). Never had this issue with my PC before, and I'm using all Samsung included cables. Kinda disappointing given the price of this product, but you will still be happy with the gaming capabilities. Hopefully Samsung will release a FW to resolve this, as I've never had this issue with the 3 other monitors used with this PC (Windows 10). Risk is too big for Ranked players, but it is fine for me just annoying.
