Dyna Band - Purple - workout resistance band

This is a great workout resistance band - it's colour coded and the packet says that this purple one is for people who regularly use resistance bands. I'm a woman in my 40s and although I'm fairly new to using resistance bands (for Pilates) I find it just right - not too tough, and not too weak.It's also a good length, I can wrap it around both hands at least once for all the exercises I use it for (a previous other-brand band was too short and slipped out of sweaty hands!). Definitely worth the slightly higher price tag than other brands.

I first saw and used these bands in my workout class and thought it would be ideal to have one for myself to motivate me to work out from home. The dyna band is as described and does the job very well. It comes with a little booklet which shows you some workout ideas on how to use the band which I find quite useful. These bands have a bit of a rubbery odour but I'm sure it will fade with time. I believe the purple band which I have ordered is the strongest one which suits me fine for my workout routine. I would definitely recommend this band for your workout.

supposed to be strong however seem to tear to easily

It's a resistance band. It seems a bit short and not as strong as I remember my old purple resistance band being. I get the feeling this might tear easily. They're a bit pricey for what they are.

I bought this but then decided I should start with the green band, so I've been using that and will use the purple band once I become used to the exercises. I like these are you can do as much as you want, work on particular areas and it's easy to store and do the exercise anywhere!

Having been advised by a sports injury therapist several years ago to use this dynaband to strengthen upper leg & groin muscles, it has been a core part of my morning exercises. I re-purchase the purple band to replace a worn band after about 12-18 months of daily use.

Dyna Band was recommended by the hospital to help with my arthritis and diabetes. I started with the green, approx 1 year ago, and now I have progressed to the purple. It as helped me to manage both illnesses. It is an inexpensive and easy to use piece of exercise equipment, and you can use it anywhere because it is so small and light.
