I have used these bumper pads as 'feet' for serving platters, laptops, lamps, and many other items that would benefit from a little extra cushioning, but I just used them for the first time as bumpers. I'm very impressed with how well they work for such a wide variety of applications. They are strong and soft at the same time, meaning they will offer both strength and cushioning. And they have the additional advantage keeping things in place - the silicone pads will grip the surface you place them on just enough to keep things from slipping around or moving when you don't want them to. I find them exceptionally easy to apply - just be sure to clean the surface well and wipe it with a good solvent (rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover) to get rid of any residue that might interfere with the adhesion. I have some of these bumpers that have remained in place for years, so the adhesive is excellent. But the best part is that 12 of these bumpers (enough to add feet to 3 laptops) cost me less than a cup of coffee.

Adhesive sticks really well I used them for feet to get my electronics up off the desk and they work very well for that

I used these to replace the rubber feet on an old laptop that was overheating. Now the keyboard is cool. In a high stress application like this, it's wise to use a "firmer" adhesive like weldwood contact cement. For normal applications the stickum on the part is pretty good.

The adhesive on these worked very well when I attached it to my granite surface plate, so adhering to stone is no problem. Under the weight of the stone (26 lb) the 3 pads I attached are not visible flexed at all, and pressing on the surface yields zero flexion. These are good for things that you do not want to "squish" under the pad when you press down, but they are not quite plastic.

I bought these through Amazon because I could not find them at any local hardware store as in the past. I use them for feet on the bottom of a teak bathtub mat. I applied them as I have in the past, and in less than 24 hours they fell off and after reapplying them a few times with them only staying on less than 24 hours, the adhesive from the silicone bumper itself totally separated from the bumpers. Only thing I can think of to do now is apply them with liquid nails.

UPDATE: After having these "feet" on my laptop for 3 weeks, they no longer "gripped" I use a lapdesk and computer started sliding - only way I could get them to grip again was to lift up computer and wipe the "feet" with damp cloth. Then they would hold for part of the day and slide again The "feet" stick to bottom of laptop fine, just don't keep it from sliding I had some thin rubber grip strips, self adhesive that work awesome, so I cut the strips to fit on the bottom of the "feet" and now they stay put So, I don't recommend these if you want something that is "slip proof" since they don't stay slip proof after a few weeks. I have laptop and I use it on a "lap desk", always sliding around on me. I put these 6 of them across the bottom on back side and front one in each corner - it also raises laptop just a bit to allow extra airflow I took the 4 I had left and put them at the back of my lap desk as extra security to keep from puter from sliding off They stick great - make sure you know where you want them, not repositional, which is why they are great for me, they stick ! I've tried numerous brands and this is first on that keeps my laptop on the lapdesk

These are excellent and cost less than "other brands". I used 4 on the bottom of my bamboo cutting board and they work great! I used a heat gun and went over them for just a few seconds which heated the adhesive creating a really great bond. You probably don't need to do that but I wanted to make sure they stuck on for the duration.

Just what I needed, as described. Very good adhesive an strong rubber.

I like the product very much. I am using it on two separate issues I had. I changed my flooring which meant my old door stop no longer worked. I used one of these surfacegards attached to my wall so that the door handle would not slam into the wall. I used four of these under a cutting board to raise it's height allowing me to approach closer to the sink. I m quite satisfied with the immediate results. Only time will tell if the adhesive is permanent.

This helped me prop up my PlayStation and it looks classy
