Great pull-up bar, particularly if you have wide doorways
I have been on the look out for an extra-long pull-up bar since moving to a flat in an old hospital building where the door frames are 105 cm (41.5 inches) wide. The pull-up bars that hook through to the other side of the frame were no good as the door frames are also a foot deep.Finally, I found this one and it's very good indeed. It locks tightly to my wide door frames by simply twisting the ends of the bar. Nevertheless, I weigh nearly 100kg, so I've used the screw-in mountings (that come with it) at the high level for pull-ups and chin-ups just to add extra security. Basically you just screw these into the door frame and then twist and extend the bar into them. I take the bar out of these and just twist-attach it to lower levels for exercises that require less security.I'm pretty sure the bar would hold my weight without the screw-in cups but I'm taking no chances.I think this is a great bar, particularly if you have wide doorways.

Best piece of home gym equipment I have ever bought.
I rarely bother to write product reviews but this pull up bar is great. I'm 80kg and it holds me 100% securely. It is a clever design with the gripping ends working like screws, you can tighten it as much as you like. I've used it inside but mostly between two brick walls outside. Really excellent, well made product. My arms are tired!

Feels quite solid. Good quality.. Used to have a 10-15 bucks pull up bar and it didn't feel like this one.

Excellent Bar, at a good price
After searching for a while, i chose this bar, taking a bit of a punt as there were limited reviews. But It is great, not a single slip and that is without using the screw in mounts. Genuinely changed my opinion on telescopic bars.
