REVISED TO 5 STARS!
Review updated 4/26/25After posting the below 1 star review the manufacturer reached out to me and offered not only a refund but also a replacement dust bin. Further, they asked me to send them the QR codes for their customer service web sites so they can investigate why they did not work for me. That is outstanding customer service! The vacuum undoubtedly has mechanical design flaws but the manufacturer has proven to me that they WILL make things right! That 5 star service commitment to their customers combined with the high quality of the product features and overall excellence of the vacuums performance versus cost makes me highly recommend this product. At that cost you can buy multiple units you know they will stand behind and still be cheaper then the bigger name brands.ORIGINAL REVIEWI bought this robot vacuum in Feb 2025 after doing a lot of research into robot vacuums and the various features and this robot won the hands down.It has lidar to map the room so you can selectively clean, and AI to help it navigate so it won’t get stuck under furniture or tangled. The mapping feature on the app is really cool because you can see a map of your home and where the robot is in real time. It also records the path as a line or a trail of where the robot has been so you can see areas that it skipped because of obstacles. Now the bad news. After using the vacuum a total of 5 times the blue plastic latch that keeps the dust bin in place broke. That should be no problem to replace but unfortunately the provided QR code for customer service printed in the manual and on the machine itself goes nowhere! Or more precisely it goes to a blank page that says this service is no longer available, in Chinese. So basically it’s a great unit at a really great price, but if anything, and I mean ANYTHING ever goes wrong with it you are SOL.Bottom line, spend a bit more and buy from a company that actually supports their product.

Love this vacuum!
The media could not be loaded. i’ve had this vacuum for about 3 months now and it’s great. I was a bit weary at first after seeing some reviews say that it lost the mapping route after just 1 month. I will say that something similar did happen with mine. Our wifi is not the greatest and shuts off from time to time. When it does that, we have to reconnect the vacuum to the wifi. When this happened the first time, i noticed that the map of our apartment was gone. I panicked and thought we would have to re-map the apartment every time we use it, but when i went into “Room Manage” on the settings i saw our original map was still there - just not selected due to the vacuum being restarted. Since then, I know how to fix the problem when my wifi goes out, so I don’t consider this a problem with the vacuum itself. The vacuum works great, i didn’t expect it to be a complete replacement for regular deep cleans - but it’s VERY helpful not having to sweep every few days, especially with the 2 cats that I have. I set the vacuum to sweep every day, and mop every other day while i’m at work and it does a great job. Sometimes, i’ll get a notification that the vacuum failed to complete the task but i’ll come home and find that it got stuck on a belt that was left in the floor. Don’t forget to pick up little things on the floor including phone chargers and wires so it doesn’t get stuck. And as long as you remember to clean out the cartridge and re-fill with soap and water, you’re good to go. My cats wanted to fight it at first but they got used to it and let it clean right past them now. I would strongly recommend this it’s a great substitute for the more expensive ones.

Optimistic
I will begin with the possible downsides of purchasing a Lubluelu vacuum. I have been using a Lubluelu SL60D robot vacuum for about 13-months and over time they pushed some firmware updates that managed to resolve most of the complaints I had early on. You can see my review of that older model here (https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RTWDIGHAXVJFB/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B0C5R7N16K)Anyway, a few weeks ago, the SL60D essentially stopped working. It suddenly stopped being able to sense that it was flat on the floor and would give a "Wheel overhang error" while refusing to do anything. I emailed Lubluelu support a week ago & still no response, that is the chance you are taking with this vacuum. As for this new SL68 vacuum, thus far, I don't have much to complain about. There are some subtle changes vs. the SL60D and honestly, I think they mostly are all positive.- The 'dust bin' design was altered. On one hand, the design of the filter placement is better. On the other hand, eliminating the notch at the bottom of the bin (where you could previously place your thumb while removing the bin) feels more awkward, but it is still completely usable. Unfortunately, the dust bins on both models are too small IMO.- The SL68 vacuum seems to be much quieter than the SL60D- The SL68 battery appears to last much longer than the SL60D- If you have existing maps created by the SL60D, they are not transferrable to the SL68, you will need to remap and redo any off-limit zones, etc. but on the plus side the SL68 allows for twice as many off-limit areas.Overall, the SL68 seems to be a significant improvement over the SL60D and I am, so far, happy that I purchased it despite the horrible lack of customer service I have received with the SL60D.One other word of caution, especially for those with a lot of pet hair. I have not taken apart the SL68 so I have no idea what the internal look like, however, a major issue with the SL60D was that it has an internal filter, sort of a black sponge (doesn't appear to be charcoal, just a sponge) in the end of the air inlet tube. You cannot clean or replace that filter without taking the vacuum apart and unless you take it apart, you will have no idea that filter even exists. After about 7-months my SL60D pretty much stopped picking anything up and that is when I decided to take it apart and have a look. The little black filter had a good 1/4" of filth caked on it, causing the air intake to essentially be blocked, thus, not allowing the vacuum to really pick up anything. I cleaned that filter, reassembled and all was well until I began getting the "wheel overhang" error. My hope is that the design of this SL68 is different and not prone to the same issue but again, buyer beware. I will update my review after spending more time with this little robot.*** Update 01/19/2025 ***A couple weeks after my initial review, Lubluelu finally emailed me back about my broken SL68 vacuum and to their credit, they sent me a brand new SLD60 that I now have as a backup if needed. As for this SL68 vacuum, overall, it continues to work well with some occasional, but I guess expected hiccups. The battery does seem to last a bit longer than the SLD60 and I think it is a tad quieter but otherwise, the two seem to function pretty much identically. One thing I would HIGHLY recommend is to clean everything possible with compressed air at the very least, every two weeks, especially if you have a lot of pet hair like I do. I used compressed air on the filter (and the entire bin) at least weekly and the wheel wells on these vacuums accumulate hair very quickly. The hair is difficult to get out of the wheel wells with anything but compressed air in my experience.*** Update 05/28/2025 ***Since I was sent a replacement SLD60 vacuum, quite some time ago, I recently decided to have the SLD60D clean half the house while having the SLD68 clean the other half & honestly, it's been a bit eye opening. Currently, it appears as though the SLD60D is no longer available which is really disappointing based on what I see. In my opinion, the older SLD60D is overall better than the newer SLD68 vacuum. The HEPA filter on the 68 is a bit of a nightmare, perhaps it is just doing a better job of filtering, IDK. What I do know is that the HEPA filter on the 68 is constantly filthy whereas the filter on the 60 stays way cleaner for much longer. I also do not like how everything seems to 'stick' to the box containing the filter on the 68, it is actually very odd. With the 68, you go to dump the bin and usually, most debris are stuck to the box for the filter, like there is some strange static electricity thing going on. With the 60, that does not happen.Another difference I have observed is that despite the 68 being newer & supposedly having more advanced LIDAR, it is clearly more stupid than the 60. With the 68, my off-limit zones were constantly being violated. I would tell it not to clean an area & it would try to clean it anyway. The 60 almost never exhibits that behavior while it also seems to be easier to dial in very specific zones, meaning, it is more accurate than the 68 is.Given that my previous 60 failed (and I do believe there is likely a design flaw that allows an internal component to get clogged with dog hair) I am still a bit skeptical, however, as far as performance and overall ease of use/maintenance is concerned, I am absolutely convinced that the 60 is actually a better overall vacuum than the 68 is. Honestly, I would not purchase another 68 but I would purchase another 60 even if I felt like it would only last a couple of years.I will also say that I do not believe my 68 has ever received an update, whereas I know my 60 has received several, although not recently. Hopefully the 60 becomes available again because I truly consider it to be a better vacuum than the 68 & it is also easier to find 'maintenance' part for it vs. the 68. Lubluelu took care of me when my 60 failed so I give them kudos for that but unfortunately, it seems they are headed in the wrong direction & their older vacuum is better than their new version.

Good little sweeper
Cleans very well, I love the mapping feature, It does get stuck on cords, charger cables and such so make sure you get them out of the way before using I don’t use the mopping feature, because I have lots of rugs I mostly bought it for the sweeper function, it’s a sweeper not a vacuum, mopping is more like dragging a wet towel over the floor. Like spot mopping.
