Ethyl Oleate is a fatty acid formed by the condensation of oleic acid and ethanol. It is a colorless to light yellow or straw color liquid. Ethyl oleate has also been identified as a primer pheromone in honeybees. It is also produced naturally by our body. Ethyl Oleate used in many applications such as industrial, medical, food, perfume, cosmetics, health & beauty preparations. Ethyl Oleate can function as solvent, glossing agent and emollient. It is an excellent solvent and good moisturizer. Suitable for skin care, hair care and colour cosmetics. Used in household products as a fragrance ingredient such as some Clorox products.

Works well, but over time the vial stopper has gone weird
This product has worked well and performed as ethyl oleate should, but I dont use it much as a solvent. Over time the stopper on this vial has degraded and sucked in on itself. I dont believe I left the bottle under heavy vaccuum, but its interesting. This is the first time I've purchased ethyl oleate so I dont know if its normal or not. I would just say make sure you equalize the pressure of this vial.

Although, I wasn’t crazy about the lack of combined shipping costs (or paying for shipping at all) the product is just as good as any product that I’ve purchased from a Medical Lab Supply store. I also received it quickly! Thanks you all.
