It works
It works, I have emf issues, and so today I was able to pick up the iron without any bodily shakes or fuss.Hopefully not a one off.My only gripe is that the non earthing pins aren’t long Enough to penetrate the socket so if you stretch too far it has a tendency to kind of slip away slightly from the plug other than that it works this was a cheap alternative to test out my theory so now I will go on to buy an actual earthing MatI will also add that this 12ft cable is when it’s stretched to full capacity.

The long cable makes this worth the money
An anti static strap is a must has piece of kit for anyone building or maintaining PC's.The cable for this is long enough that I can work on the mainboard without having to constantly fight the bungee effect of a stretching coil of cable. Having this plugged into the wall means that I can be confident that I'm properly grounded whilst working on my computer - even with the power supply removed.

Seller sent wrong item and expects me to pay return postage
The plug arrived quickly, but was completely different to the one advertised here. It was very flimsy with very short pins that come out of the socket easily.There is only ONE 10mm stud, not the THREE shown in the photo - This made it unusable for my purpose.When I contacted the seller, he told me that I would have to return the item at my own expense (approximately £4.48 for recorded delivery!)This plug *might* be ok for some people, but just don't expect it to match the advert and be prepared to pay for you own return postage if it isn't! Awful customer service

Bit pricey but worth it,
I kind of ordered this kit by accident, but I am glad I did as it is a well-made item and much better than my old anti-static strap which was too short and falling apart. This new kit is a bit pricey but I would recommend it

Very sturdy bit of kit, nicely made and a. Good long stretch with the curly cable. If you need one of these, this one does the job

Simple and Effective
Simple and Effective, Just plug in to mains socket (Switched off of course) put on the wrist band,and any electric charge is harmlessly filtered away.
