Easy to use....
Ordered this to help strengthen my lungs after a bout of pneumonia several years ago. The spirometer comes in 2 pieces that easily assemble. Included in the box is a small sheet with some basic instructions. It is made out of cheaper plastic but feels sturdy enough to do the job. The device is easy to use, it operates on the inhale, and can be washed relatively easy. It's a very basic device that does seem to work just fine. Not spectacular but sufficient....

Does As It Should
This is very effective and is the perfect size for storing away after use. I got it for my husband after a procedure so we would have our own. Using it for the first time was a breeze, best bang for your buck!

Effective device to improve lung health
This item is an incentive spirometer, is a simple medical device that exercises the lungs. As someone interested in maintaining lung health, especially after a recent bout of bronchial illness, I decided to try this incentive spirometer. The claim is that this simple device is designed to encourage deep breathing and strengthen respiratory muscles. My experience would support that claim. The spirometer is a straightforward, plastic device with three chambers containing colored balls. It's lightweight and easy to hold. The instructions are clear and concise, explaining how to use the device properly. While it's not a fancy piece of equipment, it feels sturdy enough for regular use. The principle behind the spirometer is simple: you inhale deeply through the mouthpiece, lifting the balls in the chambers. The goal is to lift the balls to the marked levels, indicating improved lung capacity. Using the device was effective, which is not a surprise given I used used one in the past after surgery. I could feel my lungs working harder as I inhaled, and I noticed an improvement in my ability to lift the balls over time. It provides visual feedback, which is motivating and helps track progress. I found it particularly helpful for improving my breathing after experiencing some chest congestion. The deep breathing exercises helped clear my airways and made me feel more comfortable. The spirometer is very easy to use. The instructions are clear, and it takes only a few minutes to learn how to use it correctly. Cleaning is also simple; you can wash the mouthpiece with soap and water. The price point seems to me reasonable for this effective medical device. Overall I feel this incentive spirometer is a practical and affordable tool for anyone looking to improve their lung health. It's easy to use, provides visual feedback, and helps strengthen respiratory muscles. While it may not be a glamorous device, it delivers on its promise of promoting deep breathing and improved lung function.

Well made and works perfectly.
Just a basic breather, but works well, no leaks, good seals and helps with my lung capacity/strength. I’ve used this quite a bit an it still is working well, and has not leaked.

standard make -easy to use
This is easy to use and I am using it as a trainer type situation to increase lung capacity and also to 'breathe right'. I have a chronic cough that is aggravated by scents and chemicals so I want to use this for repair and ongoing support. My only concern is the cleaning over time. Even though it's only meant for one person to use, I will replace this after a few months of use. Like you would a toothbrush. I am sensitive to mold and fungus so I would not want this to harbor and growing germies! It is made of pretty cheap plastic, but so are the ones you get in the hospital. It does the job!
