We purchased these plates because my husband has tremors and the sides help him get his food on utensils. they are very pretty and heavy. Heavy is also good for people with tremors as the plate stays in one spot while trying to navigate the food. Unfortunately, one arrived chipped. There was a customer service card included and I wrote right away. The response was quick and straight to the point. I was given the option of replacing the plate with 2 plates or a credit on a future purchase. I opted for the replacement. Answers were swift and courteous. Unfortunately, I didn't hear it receive anything for almost three weeks. (This was just before July 4 holiday. ) I guess our request got lost. I contacted them again, got an immediate response and received 8 gorgeous plates. Best part, I don't have to return the damaged one. The ones we have had washed beautifully in the dishwasher. We haven't tried them in the microwave yet. These are wonderful dishes with great customer service. (Despite the wait.)

The stoneware plates are beautiful, sturdy, and elegant, exactly what I wanted! Two pieces arrived with cracks, but the seller’s response was lightning-fast and beyond generous, they sent me a whole replacement set! It’s rare to find a seller who truly cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to make things right. Absolutely great quality and outstanding service. Highly recommend! 👌

I do love this item I purchased for perfect size for a good quality meals. Good Foods for Hungry tummy’s brings out good moods. The design is chic and strong with heat resistance. I hand wash the plates. Hopefully my guests will enjoy this

I love my Sasaki Colorstone sapphire plates, but when my adult son moved back home and broke one, I looked for an everyday set to use in their place. I was happy to find these beautiful plates on sale for only $24 for a set of 8. I ordered them with fingers crossed because of the reviews which complained that one or more arrived chipped or broken. My plates arrived well-packed and in tact. They are even prettier in person than in the pictures. They are an incredible value. That said, here are my notes for the persnickety: * The individual plates are heavy, even a bit heavier than my other (Colorstone) stoneware. * The unglazed surfaces on the underside are a bit rough in places, which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. I could probably remove the rough spots with an emery board, however, as could you. * There are small brown flecks in the glaze of some of the plates. It’s an aesthetic thing that shows they were made by hand. Not a big deal to me, but if you are bothered by flecks and variations in your tableware, it might be to you.

So far, high quality no chips or cracks! Hope these hold up to teenage boys helping with dishes!!! So far so good! Heavy quality feel.

I am VERY SATISFIED! With this seller and though the plates are still in question. The seller was very very accommodating with my issue. I started to pull one of the plates out of the sleeve of cardboard and the edge of the plate, broke off! Trust me. A big question mark hit me to just send them back and get a different brand..I love the edge to edge useability, of this style plate. But, can I trust picking it up with one thumb and forefinger, when hot food is on it and trust it won't break off, carrying it. Anyway, I called the seller and she sent out 2 more. Though only one was broken. I have used them right out of the microwave.. With no breakage. So far so good

Beautiful plates, LOVE the colour! They are a good size, and not too heavy. The lipped edges keep foods from sliding or getting pushed off of the plates. They are great for everyday use, & can also be used for formal dinner settings.

Scratches easily noticed after 2 uses not bad otherwise

I was looking for a high contrast plate to enable someone with partial sight to more easily identify volume and position of food. These are great. They look very stylish too. Not light weight! Love them.
