Q: My baby is 7months and 18 lbs. should I get a small or large?

These run small so I would get the bigger size. Definitely the large.

Q: My son is 22 months and weighs approximately 28lb. What would be the suggested size to order for him?

I've taught four of my kids to swim, at 22 months I urge you to use simple arm floats, teach the child to swim. I've seen too many of these submerse or capsize, and what makes this worse is that the baby is BUCKLED IN?!!

Q: Whats the max weight it can hold?

I'm not sure of maximum weight. My grandson weights 14 pounds and is 24 inches. He fits perfectly and can move around.

Q: How to get the needle to inflate this item?

It’s very easy to blow up w/o using the needle. Just bite the inflator valve as you blow air to inflate swim toy.
