I ordered the Iron-On Name Labels for Clothes to label my granddaughter's school uniforms, and overall, they work well! However, I learned you can't just iron directly onto the label as it burns the label. Instead, I placed some heat-resistant paper on top of the label before ironing, which worked perfectly. Once applied, the labels stay firmly attached and haven’t budged, even after washes. There’s also plenty of roll left, so it’s a handy solution for any future labelling needs. A bit of extra care is required, but the results are good!

There were a couple of surprises with this product.The first surprise was the size of the roll, which looked smaller than I expected, although it is 3m in there, it just doesn't look like a lot in person.The second surprise was the feeling of this material. I think I was expecting it to feel like a fabric texture (since it's said to made from a blend of cotton and polyester), but it feels like thin white glossy photo paper. One side is glossy (the "rubber side") and the other is more matte.To use, it's simple: place the glossy rubber surface facing down onto the clothing, (and the matte side facing up) then iron it on for 18-20 seconds, and wait for it to cool to set. Here on the listing they suggest putting it in the wash after 2 hours. I'm not sure if that's essential or if that's the minimum time to wait before you can wash it without the label falling off.The pen for writing on the label is kindly provided in this kit. The instructions suggest writing on the label before ironing onto your clothes, though if you do that, I would put a protective layer between the label and your iron to protect your iron from the ink.
