Taste is not too bad
The taste is not great, but it's better than a less expensive similar product I tried where the taste was so bad I just couldn't deal with it. I don't feel like I'm choking this one down. I only consume this mixed into ready-made liquid bone broth, with some salt and spices added.

Mixes Easily In Hot & Cold Beverages Almost No Flavor
Mixes easily in hot and cold drinks. Taste is mostly neutral with a slight flavor, Iโm assuming of bone, that covers up easily with the lightest flavored drink. If it is what it says it is I am receiving great benefit, 20 grams at a time. Since we lose muscle as a matter of natural aging after the age of 50 itโs important to get at least 50grams a day, one way or another.) Iโve purchased a few times and use once just about every day. Itโs priced fair for something not claiming to be organic. (organic protein powder from a cow would be preferred but it is priced much higher.)

TASTES LIKE BEEF! ๐คข๐คฎ๐คข
It's marketed as "Unflavored" BUT it tastes like beef. Get a flavored one. This is great for savory recipes but NOT for smoothies unless you want a savory smoothie. 5/24/26 Edited to add: Used this "Unflavored" protein powder to mix with water and mandarin oranges and a small amount of lemonade mix. I freeze it and then I'm eating a frozen "treat" that has protein in it. The "Unflavored" did NOT work at all. The fix: i added cocoa powder til the beef flavor was masked. Had to add some sugar [to make it palatable] so not as healthy as I'd have liked but I didn't have to scrap the whole batch. Bleck.

Mixes easily
Carlyle Bone Broth Powder has a slight beefy flavor and mixes easily in hot water. I add it to my ginger tea in the morning, and it has a wonderful flavor.

Good price, mixes incredibly well, great protein
This powder mixes so clear and thin i am actually suspicious if its bone broth lol. Tastes fine i mean it doesnt really taste super good but its unflavored like unflavored stuff typically taste like booty. I just add a teaspoon of veg bouillon and it taste like a top ramen packet which is great. Super thin broth that has 20g of protein, taste fine enough and taste good when you add seasoning. It is exactly what i was expecting. Almost lost a star bc it doesnt taste as good as some pre flavored stuff but those are like 3 times the price half the protein... yeah i'll take this product over that one

Don't do it, you will regret it!
Okay... so it is Protein but it tastes like CRAP, I tried mixing it with Au Gu and it still tasted like CRAP, I am sorry I am willing to work with a product but NOTHING I tried worked, to me it was a waste of money because I could NOT stomach it, I went through Army SEER school and the hedge hog that I ate RAW was better than this, I usually am pretty easy going, I still eat ARMY MRE's but this stuff? nope... This is NOT unflavored for sure. For those who like it are either lying or have ruined taste buds... probably from smoking.

Bone broth filling - Earthy aroma - Bland taste
4 Star for price. 4 star for feeling full. If you're trying to stay full, consume protein. Not starch. Starch converts to sugar. Taste... This is where it depends on what you make. Not for coffee, tea, smoothies or anything sweet or even neutral. No amount of medicinal herbs will mask the odd, Earthy aroma. If you're making a soup then it works. Add some ginger powder to it and a hint of salt. Slightly bitter due to that, but easier to drink. The up side is that big scoop dilutes in room temp. H20. 3 shots of H20 will be enough. Don't need a lot of water to dissolve which is nice. It's not same as bean protein that stays thick. If the idea is to use as little H20 as possible to drink that in 2 gulps, then this is good. If it didn't have the aroma, then it would be good in anything. But the only thing that is totally flavorless is collagen peptide. Bean protein will taste of beans. Bone broth will have the Earthy aroma similar to a broth that's bland. Think of it more of making a soup than anything else. Always try the product as is 1st before mixing into anything regardless if it's flavored or not. Never know what it taste like. Don't have better options to intake more protein with ease. This will do for now.

Good Quality
Can't find any info or website of the manufacturer, so feeling suspicious about where this is coming from and the health of the cows...want clarity on where the cows are from and a manufacturers website. The price is so expensive on amazon in comparison to the website too I have realised really late! :( Product was stuck in customs for agessss, took weeks to get to me! ordered 27th October, and arrived on the 17th November!:/ Love the product taste.
