Kwikset Juno Entry Door Knob with Lock and Key, Secure Keyed Handle Exterior, Front Entrance and Bedroom, Venetian Bronze, Pick Resistant SmartKey Rekey Security and Microban

Removing cheap Kwickset knobs and lock sets to install quality replacements was great in and of itself!The installation on each door took about 10 minutes. Unlike others, Kwickset made this take easier by making the inner handles cover rotatable so you can set the screws out just long enough to insert the external handle and slide the internal knob over, rotate a bit and simply tighten the screws. No more fiffleingnwith where the screws align, it done for you!Installing the latch and strike was as simple as a few screwes. Once aligned and tightened, insertion of the external knob, aligning the internal knob scre hooks and rotating was a snap. After tightening the interior screws, I had a nice, firm, high quality locking handle that allowed me to security rekey all my doors, both knobs and dead bolts, to the same keys. I have extra keys now that I know will work and should I need to rekey, I know it'll take less than 10 seconds per door. No removal of the locks for a trip to the hardware store! I cannot recommend these high enough!

The knob and deadbolt match perfectly and installed in a pre-bored door without a hitch. I was having difficulty finding a knob and deadbolt locally that were the finish I liked, especially a double-cylinder deadbolt -very poor selection of a double available at the big box stores. I really appreciate that they both featured the Smart-Key technology - what an improvement over trying to find someone at the store who could or had time to do the re-keying. It's not the most intuitive process, especially on the deadbolt - I would start with the entry lock first to become familiar. I was successful with the entry lock and the interior of the deadbolt, but I did something wrong with the exterior lock on the deadbolt and found myself with no working key. I called KwikSet and after trying several things, they offered to send out a new cylinder and key. I found a few tutorials on-line that walked through resetting a dead cylinder and after 2 tried, had it reset and the key I wanted to use working in it - not necessarily a process I would recommend but nonetheless a useful one if something goes wrong. I had KwikSet locks on all my other doors so this was a big plus in selecting KwikSet. Operational-wise, they are both very smooth.

We purchased this as one in a series of Kwikset smartkey door knobs and deadbolts for our home remodel. As for the product itself, it has a good oil rubbed bronze color and looks like it will withstand weather elements. Installation was easy. The knob feels secure and operates easily. The lock was easy to re-key using the smartkey technology. I manged to successfully re-key it in about 15 seconds.The provided installation hardware is sufficient, but I recommend using extra long screws to secure the strike plates to the door jamb for added security.This product received 4 rather than 5 stars because of the screws that hold the knobs to the door. The screws are located "behind" the door knob at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock. In order to screw them in, you must hold your screwdriver at an angle and press firmly. It's difficult to keep the screwdriver from skipping as the screw gets tight. This could cause some of the oil rubbed bronze color off of the screw. While this design does a good job hiding the screws during normal operation, you must be careful when you install so that you don't scratch the knob or strip the screws.

This door knob is so good! Impossible to break in through! I locked myself out of my bedroom and needed to get in and wasn't able to use a credit card to get in, nor even kick the lock off. The frame piece from the previous set was the only thing that gave way. I recommend this door knob to anyone that wants piece of mind while at home and away.

Just what I was looking for with my other lock. It's sturdy and I like that I can match it to my other lock.

I needed to re-secure my house and opted for these doorknobs. The knobs were very easy to install...literally only took minutes per door and I am not typically very handy. The hardware is very solid and looks nice. Re-keying was also super easy and I like the SmartKey feature should I ever need to re-key again. I was intimidated by the thought of doing this project by myself, but I am glad I did. I saved myself the expense of a locksmith and I got some +exp in life skills.

I'm a fan of this door handle. The SmartKey Security is impressive,easy to use. The Venetian Bronze Finish gives it an elegant look that fits perfectly with my decor. The installation was easy! Highly recommended!

The re-key is really useful. It is easy to install and re-key. I use the knob for my main entry door. I have another Weiser knob and deadbolt (with re-key) on my garage door. The keys are compatible after re-key. Now I can just bring one key for both entrance.
