Usual silent night quality. Very good, nice fabric, well stitched, good elastic ation in the corners, size exactly as described. Does not appear to be shiny fabric that would make sheets slip on it, at least we’ve not had any trouble. Neither has it made Sleeping feel hot. It has though really protected the mattress. It is not waterproof, but for general spills, such as when a grandchild decided to upset a mug of milk in the bed, the liquid went through the sheet but could be blocked off the mattress protector very quickly without the need to wash it. It has been washed since and line dried. I would not put in a tumble dryer because sometimes the backing on these mattress protectors can go a bit weird from the heat. I can’t think of the word to describe what happens, but it’s almost as if an iron has scorched the backing. That is why I need to replace the previous one so I will not risk tumble drying again. Positive, it does protect the mattress washes easily dry quickly on the line and is comfortable to sleep on negatives, can’t think of any. Happy with my purchase.

Quite disappointed in the quality of this mattress cover. We chose this cover as Silentnight is a known and respected brand, but the cover is quite thin - on no level would I call it either “ premium, luxury or cosy”…..soft, maybe but I suspect that in a very short amount of time it will lose its softness too.

Comfy easy to wash

I have an older one of these and it was thicker. This is fairly thin. If tou need something thicker and more absorbent this may not be the best choice. I bought a super king cover to fit a king sized memory foam topper. I have another cover over the mattress itself as this does not cover sides. I find having the little bit of extra material makes it much easier to get in place and to keep it there. This is thin, and as mentioned i bought a size up, I dont think the correct size would have worked as well. But it does have one saving grace and it is a big one. It has extra deep straps to keep it in place. I have an extra deep silent night pillow top mattress. This fits over the memory foam topper and can still fit under the corners of the mattress. So it not only protects the foam, it holds it in place. And it does stay put very well. So despite any other issues I would highly recommend for anyone with a mattress topper, but consider ordering a size up.

The quality is really bad. The material is light and definitely won't last long.

Ich habe den Matratzenschoner gekauft als weiche Zwischenschicht für Fleeceunterlagen. Dafür ist sie toll. Angenehmes Material und nicht zu dünn. Allerdings bin ich sehr von den Maßen enttäuscht!! Mein Doppelbett ist 1,80 m breit, der Matratzenschoner, der leider ohne Maßangabe verkauft wird, 1,30 m. Sorry, aber das geht bei mir nicht als Doppelbett durch. Durch die falsche Oder irreführende Größenangabe ziehe ich zwei Sterne ab.
