Great laser for the price.
Great little laser for the price. Shoots as advertised indoors. Daylight greatly reduces distance it can throw. Sturdy, easy-to-use design. Use-time per battery change is adequate. Leveling feature works extremely well.

Love this tool
Love this tool. It does work well indoors...providing you are not in bright light. In a large room with a lot of light, it is very hard to see the line. I believe a pair pf red tinted glasses designed to be used with lasers will solve that problem. In a room where you have have average (whatever that may be) light it works perfectly. Someone else said that the line goes from fine to thick the further you are away. That is true but really, that's not really a hinderance. Sure it would be nice to have a really fine line at 50' but you would have to spend much more that this tool cost.It works very well outdoors as well but only because I bought the Dewalt DW0892 Digital Line Laser Detector to work with it. My yard is 150' deep and I was able to use it the entire depth with no problem. So to sum it up, the (minor) drawbacks for me on this is that 1) A little hard to see in a very bright room. 2) The carrying case should have a compartment for the add on line detector because you are going to have to buy it to use of this outdoors. The line detector does not have it's own case and DeWalt doesn't make one. Besides, even if they did, who wants to carry to cases?

Great level
My husband had his old level just like this stolen and we searched hi and low in stores to find one of the same. Was glad to find it on Amazon because he likes this model so well for work he insisted on having the same one.

Only bad thing about this is it lets you know how ...
Renovated the master bath, kitchen, stairs, and patio. This thing is amazingly helpful, powerful magnets on the back let you stick it to anything that supports its weight. Made a quick stand out of some 2x4 and a long metal brace screwed to it so I could move it up and down without needing to get a tripod or stand. Flashes when gyro is not aligned so you can reset it. Only bad thing about this is it lets you know how crooked everything in the house is.

this mistake turned out to be the better choice dewalt vs bosch
Got this as a mistake for christmas after i had asked for the bosch GCL25. I compaired this dewalt with it side by side on the job.Supprisingly the much cheaper dewalt combilaser was a much brighter thinner line visible for twice as far. Lasers wont lock in place while on only for traveling which would be useful to turn the cross hairs upwards.but all around the dewalt is a much better better product even without taking the price difference into account.... its has attached wall bracket can be laid on its back to use overhead even tho the cross hairs wont be used for plumb they are still square.Very happy i didnt get the bosch gcl26 beacause i would have retuned it. In the picture below the bosch GCL25 is on left and dewalt is on right.... what else could u wanna see haha
