yeast extract is essentially MSG. they just use a different name to hide it. But it's also allowed in "natural flavors" so everyone hides it in there too.

Q: What's the sodium content per serving?

330mg 14% for a serving of 28 grams or 1 oz

Q: How long does it keep after being opened and refrigerated?

The package instructs you to eat within 3 days of opening but mine will last about 1-2 weeks. I haven't tried longer than that because it gets eaten before I get a chance to.

Q: What is the shelf life of a package un-opened?

I would say about 1 or 2 months out on the shelf before it gets dry. But here is something I found out. When you get you product, the bag is not zipped closed by the manufacturer and there is this tiny nick at the top to help you tear it open. That causes it to dry out prematurely. So zip it closed when you get it and put it into the refrigerator for storage. It will last much longer that way, perhaps 3 to 5 months.
