Its hard to find to a true below knee length short. This is truly below knees and fabic quality is real good. I got 2 of them

I can never find a pair of shorts that will fit me without having to be as demure as a 1950's housewife. One tiny bit of man-sprawl and everyone gets a potential peep show (not to mention my legs break out in a rash in sunlight, but I do like a bit of air-flow on them when it's 90ºF+ and feels like 100ºF+). So, instead of believing for the 3000th time that a pair of at-the-knee shorts would actually be at-the-knee, I decided I would find a pair like this even if the fashion critics would cite me for being behind the times (but if you're looking at these, you probably don't care what they say either).They ARE BELOW the knee! And I ordered a 38 and they fit like a 38. Can you hear that choir of angels or is that just me?I actually bought a pair of the khaki first, so I was surprised that this had a zip fly (the khaki has buttons). Otherwise they are identical, with plenty of roomy pockets and a handy zippered pouch for keys or things of that nature.The belts are a bit iffy, being basically a backpack strap with the visible end not even "finished." If you need more advanced help in keeping the shorts in place I would suggest you hop into the accessories department and check out something better designed for the task.Overall I'm very happy with them, and may go in for the Purplish Grey when I can spare the moolah.

I was looking for some new shorts when I moved to Florida. Everything that I have ordered in the past has always been too small. I'm a 34-in waist and these fit spot on. Lots of room in the pockets with easy access. Love that. The belt it comes with is pretty cheap. I would rather spend a few more dollars to get something a little more substantial, a little thicker. It's basically just a small cargo strap and buckle. After you wear it for a while, the belt just folds up and becomes about the width of a rope in places. And if you want to replace with a different belt, the loops are too small to fit anything else. How about we make wider and more substantial loops, and give me a belt worthy of the shorts.They would get a five star rating with that improvement. For now, four stars is all I can give. I will try to update after I get some time and washes on them to see how durable they really are. The picture I have shows my original pair on top with the belt attached, it's got probably four washes, and lightly dried. The bottom pair is brand new and only washed once. They become a little bit softer but don't lose a lot of their color so far.

I just received my 2nd pair and I’m surprised at how long they are. The first pair fit perfect and fell right below the knee. This 2nd pair is much longer, they’re basically capris. Unfortunately I’m going to have to return them and order a normal (below the knee) fitting pair. They would’ve been great had they fit the same. Great quality though.

I was wearing these about once a week for about four months and the fabric split near the hip pocket and all the way to the hip while I was walking up a flight of stairs. There was nothing in my pockets (all in my backpack) nor did I catch them anything.Before the split, these were comfortable, they felt like a good fit, and were easy to maintain (cold wash, hang dry). I just wish the fabric wasn't so poor in quality.

I love them but be prepared for a lot of 'capri' jokes and 'cholo' comments. I dress kind of cholo anyway so it isn't much of a bother to me.

Shorts are just what I wanted for work; light, comfortable, and durable. Firm elastic waistband allows easy on/off (w/o a belt) and the multiple pockets provide ample space for carrying. I removed the drawstrings from the leg hem so not to possibly catch on objects on the job (warehouse, mostly forklift operations).After about 3+ months of usage, the construction and durability seem on par with the several pair of Dickies I use for the more demanding jobs I undertake.Overall, a good value and I would recommend.

Thin fabric, not a bad thing, good for hot weather. The craftsmanship is great and they fit well for a slimmer build. I love how they have drawstrings cuz I hate shorts that flair out

They are good shorts but the first thing you need to is, check the buttons, as they are not sown on properly.

They are as described and the fit is perfect. I'm 6ft 200lbs 38 waist and these are a dead on fit. Colour purplish/gray is also accurate. My wife says they are well made and she should know since she made clothes for herself and our kids. Nice light cotton and loose enough fit to keep cool on hot days. Haven't washed them yet so if they don't wash up well I will edit this review. I'll wash them in cold water and air dry them because cotton will shrink even though the instructions show 40c water temp and dryer ok. I guess time will tell if they last and stand up to washing. I'll be buying another if these have no issues.
