If what you want is a simple step counter, rechargeable and easy to read, this is it. Push the button to reset to zero and start walking. I clocked it by counting steps, and by distance knowing my stride, and it was dead on. The backlight is nice to have. It would be good if they could add a clock and/or a stopwatch function so you can time your exercise, but I've got a pocket watch for that (old school). This unit has nice large digits that can be read in daylight or at night, especially if you get the black color for contrast. The manual says it can last up to 3 months on a charge. There is no battery indicator so if you are in doubt, charge it up by removing the cap on one end to uncover the USB plug, and plugging it in to your computer or any USB port. Simple, quiet, lightweight and dependable, just like it should be. Well worth the price of a few dollars. Recommended.

Wanted a step counter that did not require any additional apps or equipment; just wanted a simple, easy to use step counter to track daily steps. It’s not 100% accurate but damn close - accurate enough to give an estimation of daily steps. Very easy to use - literally open it up and use it right away - no set up needed. It’s nothing fancy. You can recharge it easily through USB and you can hang it around your neck with the lanyard provided, clip it to your clothing with the clip provided (works well - clip is tight), or even just carry it in your pocket and I have found it tracks pretty accurately/similarly each way. One thing I noticed though is that when worn around my neck mainly, if it swings a lot, even if not walking, the sensor may track these kinds of extra movements as steps sometimes, but it does have a 10 step error correction built-in to help minimize inaccurate step counting. It also has a light up feature if needed, and you can easily reset it each day with the reset button on the back. Highly recommend.

This pedometer works great for most situations, but I use a walking pad and unfortunately I can’t get it to register steps when I’m walking in place. If you’re walking outside or around the track I do recommend it; the step count is accurate.

It works just fine, but is not user-friendly and takes up too much space in my pocket. I thought I had lost my old Omron pedometer, which is no longer made. I grabbed this product as a replacement. I liked that it was super simple - I don't need a lot of extras, just how many steps I've taken each day - and also how many of those steps were at a fast enough pace to qualify as "aerobic" exercise. My old Omron did that. This product looked basic enough to suit my needs, but it was a little disappointing. Using it is not intuitive, something this simple should not require gong back to the manual to figure out how to use it. But for me, the biggest drawback is that it's just a bit too big to fit comfortably in my pocket. Luckily for me, I found my old Omron pedometer and I'm back to using it again. I'm much happier than I was using this product. It DOES work just fine and seems to be of decent quality. But if small size matters to you, this might not be your best choice.

I love this. It is exactly what I wanted. It is a STEP COUNTER. It doesn't take your pulse or temperature, or nag you for not working hard enough. Just counts steps. and it's easy to use, wear either on cord around neck or clip it to your clothes. It seems to be accurate.
