Good quality
Great quality, super sharp utility knife. Wish it had a holder rather than the clip but not a reason to not buy. I know i review a lot of SK tools but thats because every time I buy a different tool it is really good!

Nice rugged build
This knife 'locks' closed and locks open, and requires 2 hands to open/close--or some single-handed technique that I've not mastered. Unlike a lot of knives at this price point, this one is all metal--which makes it slightly heavy, but has a nice feel in your hand and is easier to keep clean. The belt clip is an especially nice design and will be easy on your pocket's fabric, holds really well (as the knife is heavy), and is easy to slide into your pocket too. The bright green color helps to find it in the various places I try to lose knives. I've had it about a week and it is holding the edge well and the blade isn't twisted/crooked. I tend to favor lighter blades for EDC, but I like this one too. It compares to a ryobi-braded one I have that includes a basic flat/phillips screwdriver and box opener for about the same price. The extra capabilities of the Ryobi make it nicer, however the branding on this one is not going to start a ryobi conversation--it will start an SK conversation. (Both are badge-engineered, so while I miss the extra tools, I would rather the SK branding)

Great EDC knife for lineman, especially for the price!
I work on powerlines for a living and having a decent skinning knife is a must in this trade. My apprentice already owned this exact knife so I had the chance to test it out before one for myself. When he told me how much it cost, I couldn’t resist getting one for myself. Out of the box, this knife is very sharp, it makes skinning wire a breeze for me! The blade is made of D2 steel which is known to have a fair balance of hardness, toughness, and wear resistance. I also love the color scheme of this knife, I typically prefer brighter colored knives because they’re a lot easier to find if I accidentally leave it lying around, which I tend to do a lot lol! The black finish on the blade looks pretty BA too IMO. All-in-all, this is great EDC knife for anyone in the line trade, it’s sharp, holds an edge, and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.. can’t ask for much more than that!

SK Hawkbill folding pocket utility knife, sharp, functional, and unexpectedly reliable
I originally bought this knife because of the color, but it pleasantly surprised me. The blade is sharp right out of the box, the hawkbill design makes it excellent for cutting ropes, lines and stripping wire, and it feels solid in hand. Compact, easy to carry, and well made, it’s turned out to be a very handy little tool for everyday tasks.

Comes in at a cheap price point but not cheap enough for the quality in my opinion
It's ok, on the crappier side of ok but still. I knew what I was getting into, but I'm still disappointed. I understand that SK tool is now a Great Star brand, so it's a mixed bag. It does seem like they're trying to put an effort to make some of the tools halfway decent. However this knife feels cheap. It's heavy but feel like a budget flea market knife. It's so new that I haven't seen how blade retention is. Out of the box it requires two hands to open. I took it apart and modified it My slightly bending the spring arm that holds a ball d10 against a blade out of the way, making it operate more like a Fastback but still slightly crusty. It feels and looks very reminiscent of an Amazon basic box opener my employer purchased at one point, that I hated so I never used. Will update with some use. Also, The aluminum scales had a bit of a rough finish prior to anodizing and you can tell on both sides had been dropped prior to anodizing because they dents that appeared to have been pre-anodizing; one of them can only see once you take the knife apart. ...I will say after bending The detent ball back and lubricating the bushings, I think it becomes a usable knife

A Damn Good Knife!
Yep, here's the knife you need for professional-quality cutting, splitting, carving, hacking... It's a heavy-duty cutting tool. Get yourself one.
