Adaptable utensils and bowl
I got this a while back now.It is a set of utensils and a bowl designed for people who deal with hand tremors and such. The utensils look funny...but they are very functional and easy to use and clean. They are a good size and have a nice heft. These are well made.Excellent to have aroundRecommend

More Useful Than You Might Think
This isn't the first set of adaptive dishes I've bought but it is one of the best. Over time, I've found them useful in more ways than I would have expected. Whether you are looking for adaptive dishes and utensils for yourself or a loved one, this set stands up well. The dishes are strong and have smooth edges. The stabilization rings on the bottom keep them in place as intended. The utensils are well balanced and are easy to grip with limited mobility. I like that these utensils are not set at a fixed angle so they are equally easy to use regardless of which hand is dominant. If the spoons and fork are repeatedly bent to very different angles, I'd expect those to wear out more quickly than the rest of the set. They help give a measure of independence to adults dealing with hand tremors but can be useful under so many more circumstances. If you've got a little one around the house who really wants a "big plate" but still needs a bit of help with independent feeding, these will work. Parents caring for an infant, don't overlook how these can make it easier for you to grab a bite to eat while you've only got limited mobility. Being able to eat a quick meal, without raking it off the plate, while cradling an infant makes these a life saver. The same can be said about using them during injury recovery. If you just need to be able to expend a bit less energy managing utensils, these are worth buying. The set has everything I need to meet my current needs but is also something experience has shown is worth having tucked away "just in case". Having an adaptive dish or utensil can make such a huge difference when it comes to preserving independence and dignity.

Great Feel in the Hand
These adaptive utensils are very easy to hold and feel comfortable in the hand. The utensils are the best part of the set. Each one is very nice to eat with but the stand outs are the knives. They cut well and fit great. The plate and bowl are also very nice but are a tad lighter then some other adaptive bowls I've seen out there. If you have someone who struggles with smaller utensils, then these are a great option to help them feel more independent in handling their food.

Very nice set.
This is well designed and well made. Anyone who has difficulty feeding themselves appreciates anything that can be done to make it more manageable, and this set certainly will. My dad has Parkinson’s and I’m going to have him try this out the next time we’re together. I’m betting we invest in more sets after that trial. The cutlery is designed so that it can be bent to the preferred angle of the person using it. I have experience with that, and this is the best set I’ve seen. The edges of the plate that help you scoop food into your utensil would be handy for anybody! I’m very pleased, and the cost is very reasonable.

I am thrilled with this set, except ...
This is exactly what I needed for my mom who recently had a stroke. I have a different utensil set for her, but wanted a second. And when I saw the Maxcheck Adaptive Utensils for Elderly, I knew the plate and bowl would be an excellent addition. And they are. The plate is awesome. She is no longer scooping food off the plate and onto her lap. However, all the silverware, except the knives, had rough, sharp burrs on them that caught on my lip when I tested them. Especially the fork. I didn't have this issue with another set. For the price, I expected a better quality. I was able to sand down the rough spots and edges (smooth enough to be able to use them), although now the utensils are scratched and not as nice looking. **The photos are before I did any sanding.

So needed!
This utensil, bowl and plate set is perfect for my loved one as she has weak mobility issues. This set is designed to give them independence. Its non slip bottom works wonders as it doesn’t slide around and makes easy for your loved one to enjoy meals better and more independently. Grade a material, solid and sturdy. Dishwasher safe and easy to clean. We love it

Adaptive utensils and dinnerware
These work well for people with limited mobility. I do home health and the gentleman only has use of one arm, so dinnertime can be a challenge. The bowl and plate design help him eat independently without half his food ending up on the table. The silverware is good because he can't pick regular spoons and forks up easily with his working hand. These are large and provide a good grip no matter the angle. I wish there was a second fork instead of knife though lol.

Very Useful
Very nice set. The cutlery is very nice with thick rubber grips. The plate and bowl are curved with rubber on the bottom. They are plastic. I guess they are made to not break. My husband has Parkinson's disease and I can see a day where these will be very handy.Maxcheck Adaptive Utensils for Elderly Spill Proof Scoop Bowl and Plate with Non Slip Base Bendable Cutlery Knife Fork Spoons Self Feeding Dinnerware for Elderly Disabled People Hand Tremors Parkinson
