Ditch the Kitsch
I bought these as an upgrade from my Tritan martini glasses, and I can confidently say that the cocktail coupe is a categorically better glass for serving cocktails straight up. Let’s face it—the martini glass is an impractical retro style that has stuck around for no good reason. These glasses are stylish and practical, distinctive but not eclectic. If you are going to use just one style of cocktail stemware, make it these glasses. (If you’re going to use two, the other should be Nick and Nora cups, but that’s another discussion.) The Schott Zwiesel Tritan Crystal is excellent as always, lightweight but durable. All the Tritan glasses I have purchased have been flawless.

Lovely little glass
I wasn’t sure about the size for these glasses, but it turns out we like them very much. It’s a small-ish size but great for juice, a small glass of wine or anything you don’t want too much of. The brand is great quality and durability. The feel of the glass on your hand is so smooth and nice. It really elevates the experience! I love the simple shape and thinness of these glasses also. Very happy with them!

Extremely Fragile
I have purchased multiple sets of the Schott Zwiesel glassware primary because I like their modern sleek design, but also believe they were durable. This is clearly not the case as 3 of the softdrink glasses have broken in the dishwasher in a 1 month period. The first glass broke in the first few days of use. I figured this was bad luck, but not it seems to be a clear pattern of poor quality at a premium price.

First Class Glass
I originally bought three of these little glasses at a local store, as I was fascinated by the brightness of the crystal, the light weight (owing to the small base thickness), and feel in my hand. They must be popular, because three was all they had in stock! We have some other glasses that are similar in size that, for some reason, keep fracturing in the dishwasher and the top 3/8" or so comes off looking like a (sharp) napkin ring. Sensing that the remaining (made in China) glasses would suffer the same fate, we decided to dump the remaining ones and give these a "Schott", as they appear quite willing to go through "the wash" and be no worse for the wear. Officially, they are "softdrink" glasses, but we've found them quite serviceable for holding a splash of aperitif or other not-so-soft drink as well. 12- and 16-oz sizes are also manufactured, but are currently out of stock (at Amazon at least). I look forward to rounding out my collection when they become available again. Cheers!

Beautiful and functional, dishwasher safe, no chipping
I love these for water glasses, iced tea, gin and tonic. They fit nicely in the hand. They stack too. And they sparkle and gleam. I've been very happy with other Schott Zwiesel glasses so I'm expecting these to hold up as well. Update Jan 2024: My family has been using these glasses daily for 3 years now, running them through the dishwasher every day and occasionally dropping them or clanking them together. We've had zero breakage, zero chips, zero cracks. They are still gleaming and gorgeous. The inexpensive pint glasses we got around the same time are scratched and dull now and we've lost quite a few to breakage. These glasses are more expensive but they are totally worth it. I started out with 6 and have since added two more sets so I have enough for entertaining. The Schott Zwiesel wine glasses are awesome also.

Update: one already broken, not as durable as advertised.
Update: had them less than two months and one just broke. It was sitting in the dishwasher before the cycle even started. We turned on the garage disposal and heard a clank. Opened the dishwasher and there it was, broken. It was just sitting there, not up against anything, so we have no idea what happened to it. Bumped down from five to three stars because these are advertised as being durable. Very disappointed. Original review: I love these glasses. Never thought I would pay ten bucks for a drinking glass, but these are worth it. Looking at them online I thought they would be similar to the pint glasses I am replacing, so provided some pictures to show how they are similar but different. Right away we noticed they are a bit shorter and slightly wider, but the glass is a lot thinner and the glasses weigh just a bit more than half the weight of a pint glass. They are easier to pick up and drink from because of the lighter weight, and the wider base feels more secure when setting the glass down. They both have the pretty rings reflection effect near the bottom, but the Schott Zwiesel glasses show it off more. In one photo I (gingerly) placed the pint glass in the new glass to better show the difference in proportions. In another, I stacked two of the new glasses and two pint glasses, which does show the Schott Zwiesel glasses stack more compactly. I do not plan to ever stack them, though, because the glass is very thin, and they do seem to fit together in a way that makes me suspect they could get stuck together. Still, you could stack them for storage, and maybe put in a piece of tissue paper or something to keep the glasses separated. In one of the pictures you can see the mark on the bottom of the glass pretty clearly. The mark is subtle enough to not be obtrusive, and I think it looks pretty classy. On the scale, the pint glass weighs in at 417 grams, which is about 14.7 ounces, just a bit under a pound. The Schott Zwiesel weighs in at 229 grams, just a whisker over 8 ounces, or half a pound. To me the difference is very noticeable, and picking up a drink in the new glass seems almost wrong, it is so light compared to what I am used to with the pint glasses. You might be forgiven for thinking these are plastic, they are that light. But one look tells you they are not plastic at all, but a very high quality glass. Finally, I filled each glass up to the very top, and dumped them as carefully as possible into a measuring cup. The pictures are hard to see, but you can see that the pint glass holds almost exactly a pint, 16 ounces, true to its name. The Schott Zwiesel holds a pint plus one third cup, which is about 2.66 ounces, so I would say with confidence that the 18.2 ounce rated capacity is pretty much on the money. So that's how they compare to a pint glass. As for the pros, these are about as attractive as they can be for a glass that is so plain and unadorned with any etchings or cut shapes or the like. The high quality of the glass is obvious, and they should prove to be quite durable over time. Like my one good souvenir pint glass used in the photos, this glass should stay clear in the dishwasher, unlike most of my other pint glasses that got so cloudy that they had to go. These are a pleasure to drink from, being both light and stable. The only con is that the thin glass is a little scary. It is hard to shake the feeling they might break, although with normal use they should not. But there have been other comments about them breaking, and I might be wary having these in the house if we had any kids or larger pets. Still, I will tell you that I liked these so much when we got them that I turned around and bought a second box of six a couple days later, just so we would be sure to have enough in the house for entertaining. Just a word about the packaging for shipping. These come in a typical box you buy glasses in with a cardboard divider to separate the glasses. This box is placed into a larger box suitable for shipping with plenty of bubble wrap to keep the inner box well cushioned. If you receive these with some other item in the shipment, this whole package is placed into the larger box with your other items. I know this because to my initial dismay, they shipped these to me in a box with a 40 pound bag of cat litter. The outer box did show some damage, but the inner box was just a little creased, and all the glasses were fine. The second shipment was just the glasses in the inner and outer box, but not with anything else, and those also arrived fine. So hopefully any shipping problems mentioned in earlier comments are resolved, and you can order these with some confidence they will get to you undamaged.

Beautiful and balanced
These glasses are crystal clear, nice thick bottom and quality feel.

More narrow than expected
These are very narrow. I expected them to be a bit bigger. Would be nice to have some size reference in the photos, like a soda can for reference.
