Great value
Very compact. I use them to drive in ear monitors when I’m playing in my band. Good product.

Good wireless connection without lag
Excellent stable connection, and most importantly I don't notice any lag. The sound sounds right.

Bloody good!
Bought some I could hear the music and vox on stage when singing and I'm very happy with them for the price! The earbuds fit great and the selection of 1/4" plugs to fit the mixer. The volume control is great and the sound quality is certainly decent. The range could be better and they do cut out if a wall is involved but overall, I'm very very happy

The Melonare PM-1 Wireless In-Ear Monitor System is a budget friendly Wireless In-Ear Monitor System that actually works and works quite well. It’s UHF, not Bluetooth, so that’s a plus for a budget IEM. It has an excellent range. I used it at a range of 65-85 ft without any signal loss and Melanare claims an effective range of up to 130 ft away. A small number of reviews spoke about latency issues, but I had none. I have used this system for a couple videos. I really like the look of having an in-ear monitor for videos rather than being tethered to a giant set of headphones like when I am recording audio only. I think the quality is a little better on mono than stereo. But unless you are needing to split the stereo channels on the receiving end, I don’t think this would be an issue. Battery life has not been an issue and I have used this system for several hours continuously. Melonare claims a 5 hour battery life. I suggest that number is fairly close based on my usage. I do like the larger TRS adapters that are included for both the transmitter and receiver. I do wish the 3.5mm barrel screwed into the larger plug. I haven’t had the issue, but if it were to get pulled slightly, I could see it coming out. This is a feature that is missing on many high-end systems, so I really cannot complain about this. It’s just a feature request. The size and feel of this product reminds me of the Rode Wireless System. It is small, portable, effective, and I highly recommend it as a budget friendly wireless in-ear monitor system. At this price, it’s hard not to recommend this system. When you see my Shure SE215-CL in-ear headphones in future videos, just know they are hooked to this system.

I recently bought The Melonare PM-1 Wireless In-Ear Monitor System. The UHF 500MHz frequency hopping technology ensures a stable, interference-resistant connection. The 2.4GHz results in a clear signal which is necessary for live performances, the studio and even practice sessions. I appreciated its automatic pairing capability. By turning on the transmitter and receiver, they connect automatically. I like the ability to switch between mono and stereo giving me the ability to just wear one earpiece, keeping one ear open for environment awareness. The PM-1 charges via USB and has a power indicator to let you know how much battery life is left. One feature I’m excited about, but haven’t had the opportunity to fully test out. Is that the PM-1 can connect to multiple receivers from one transmitter, making it a viable option for bands. The only con I find is that it does not include the actual in ear earbuds but that gives each person the opportunity to use a style that they prefer. All in all, I find the PM-1 a reliable, affordable option for those looking for in-ear monitoring without hurting the wallet without sacrificing sound quality. Kevin D. Compact and simple are the first words that come to mind when using the Melonare PM-1. The PM-1 is an in-ear monitor system that allows the user to hear audio from any audio source that has an audio output. I was given the opportunity to test the PM-1. I was skeptical at first as the product was a small no-frills plastic device with very few buttons. However, after having a chance to test the product, I’m rather impressed! Transmitter: Is the device that plugs into your audio source. The transmitter has an audio input and output jack, plus a channel button. I did not have to change the channel as the product worked great out of the box. Receiver: The receiver is very minimalistic with just a headphone jack and a volume up/down buttons. Also included in the box is a USB charging cable and an 1/8-inch aux cable. I tested the PM-1 using 3 different sources. Phone: I plugged the transmitter into my phone and was able to listen to music without keeping my phone with me. I was able to adjust the volume, and the sound was very clear. Computer: I plugged the transmitter into a laptop’s headphone jack and was able to hear audio through the receiver. Again, the sound was excellent. Digital Stage Piano: I plugged the transmitter into my stage piano’s audio out and was able to hear the audio from the piano through the receiver. I was not able to test the product with a full-scale PA system. If you have a PA with an extra Aux Out, then you could plug this device into that port and use the receiver to hear the entire mix coming from the PA. The range of the PM-1 is quite good. I was able to go around 100 feet before I started getting intermittent cut outs. I was able to go outside and walk down the street about one house down before audio started cutting out. I was also able to go to a different level in my house, and the audio did not cut out. Overall, if you’re looking for a simple no -frills in-ear monitor system, then consider the PM-1 as a solid choice.
