Best Robot Vacuum I’ve Ever Owned – Truly Hands Off
I’ve been using the 3i S10 Ultra for over three months now at two different locations, and I can confidently say this is the best robot vacuum I’ve ever owned. Both units are completely hands-off and consistently do an outstanding job cleaning. The water recycle feature is absolutely amazing. You never have to deal with dirty, smelly water, and the clean water tank is always full — no constant refilling required. This alone sets it apart from every other robot vacuum I’ve owned. For context, I’ve been using robot vacuums for over a decade, starting with iRobot, Yeedy, Eufy and Ecovacs. Hands down, the S10 Ultra is superior in every way — cleaning performance, automation, and overall design. Obstacle avoidance works very well, and I’m pleased with the app experience. Setup was straightforward, mapping is accurate, and daily operation is seamless. Like all robot vacuums, regular maintenance is still important if you want peak performance. I’ve seen some comments about drops of dirty water — in my experience, this is typically resolved by making sure the sewage tank is cleaned thoroughly and free of debris. I still own my Eufy and Ecovacs units, but they’re no longer being used because the S10 Ultra handles everything. If you’re on the fence, this is a major upgrade over previous generations and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.

FAQs, Observations, Experiences, and Strategies - Everything you need to know to make a decision
Question: How can I change my password? Answer: You can change your password directly in the app by following these steps: Open the app and tap “Profile” on bottom right. Under your email address, you will see “Edit” – tap on it. On the new page, select “Change password” and follow the prompts to set a new password. Question: How can I share the device? I've tried many ways to share the device and none work. It says account does not exist. Then I add the account and it still says it doesn't exist. Answer: To share your device, please note that you need two separate 3i accounts with different email addresses. This allows the device to be controlled from different phones. For example, if you want to share the device with a family member, please follow these steps: Ask your family member to download and install the 3i app from the App Store or Google Play. THEY will need to register a new 3i account using their own email address. Once YOU are logged into YOUR 3i app: Open the app and go to “Profile”. Select “Device Sharing”. Choose the device you want to share. Click “Add Sharing” and enter your family member’s registered email address to send the invitation. Your family member will receive the invitation. After accepting it, they will be able to access and control the device through their own app. Observation: I noticed that if I log in with the same account on two devices, the previously logged in device gets logged off. Answer: Yes, according to 3i this behavior is due to our security settings. When the same account is logged in on a new device, the previous device will be automatically logged off. To share your device with someone else, we recommend using two separate 3i accounts. Question: I cleaned the house for the first time and used the vacuum and mop setting, however I noticed that even with vacuum and mop, it left quite a bit of dust behind. I would think that would be impossible. I later set the vacuum up to max to try it on an area where it left dust behind, and it still left some behind which puzzles me. I have all hard floors, LVP & LVT, no carpet, so I would think I couldn't miss. Maybe because the roller is new? Not sure. Navigation was good, and it did mop, and I could see the floor became damp behind the robot, so I know the mopping worked. Answer: To improve cleaning results, we recommend trying one of the following: - “Vacuum then Mop” mode: This will allow the robot to first vacuum the floor and then mop, which can help remove more dust. - Increase cleaning frequency: You can set the robot to clean the same area twice during a session. Question: How do I switch the map between 2D and 3D? Answer: On the map page, select the edit icon just below the gear icon. Then in about the middle of the page tap on the tab that says "Map display". To the right of the map you will see 2D and 3D. Question: What is special about the default AI Auto? The explanation says, "AI will automatically match the optimized cleaning parameters based on the room characteristics." I understand that it could incorporate the material of the floor. What I don't understand is how AI auto affects behavior. E.G. how is it different from Vac & Mop? Does it vacuum and mop where it sees liquid or scrub where it sees stains? Answer: - "AI Auto uses smart algorithms to automatically determine the best cleaning path and intensity. The cleaning parameters cannot be changed, and it defaults to simultaneous Vac & Mop with medium suction and water flow. It's best for everyday cleaning, as the robot will adjust based on room size, dirt levels, and obstacles. It will vacuum and mop when it detects liquid and scrub when it detects stains. The cleaning sequence starts at the base station and works from near to far." (Did not work well even when I set the "Material" for the rooms for "Tile". It leaves dust behind everywhere even after it mops.) - "Vac & Mop, as with AI Auto, performs vacuuming and mopping simultaneously, but you can adjust suction and water flow manually according to your preference. Similar to AI Auto, it will vacuum and mop at the same time. When it sees liquid and scrub when it sees stains. This mode is very efficient for daily cleaning." (As with AI Auto, it didn't work well, even with "Material" in rooms to "Tile" and set to "Max suction" and "Max water".) - "Vac then Mop, vacuums the room and then mops the rooom in the opposite direction." (This is the least efficient but does a far superior job. I set the "Material" to "Tile" and along with Max suction and Max water for each room. It does a GREAT job with these settings but I ran out of water before it completed the house. However, it went back to the base, distilled water for ~40 minutes less than I thought, during which it also recharges, and then resumed. What I will try next is to not use Max water everywhere and see if it will do the entire house without going through the distillation process, and leave the the vacuum on Max.) Question: AI Auto is not available as a selection within a shortcut so it appears that the only way to test is to delete current shortcuts and remake them unless I'm missing something. Answer: AI Auto can indeed be added as a shortcut. However, cleaning parameters cannot be adjusted in this mode. You can try adding it directly; if you have deleted existing shortcuts, that's not a problem–you can simply re-add AI Auto. Question: Why do I see "Task paused. Distilling in progress" ? Answer: When the robot returns from mopping, it empties the "Sewage box" in the robot into the dirty water tank in the Base Station. The "Base station" then washes the mop empties the cleaning water into the dirty water tank also. If the dirty water tank in the "Base station" becomes full, any operation that adds water to the dirty water tank must be suspended until the "Base station" empties the dirty water tank via distillation into the clean water tank and afterwards sends the dry solid waste that remains behind into the "Dust Bag". This operation takes quite a while. My Discoveries: - When you handle the robot, pull it out of the base to service, lift the cover and hold down the power button until it turns off. If you don't do this, after a short period of time, it will fight you to return to its base. Afterward you can now pull the dust bin to clean it and its filter, and the dirty water tray to wash it out. To check the vacuum roller, mop roller, and side brushes for wear and hair, lay it upside down on a towel to prevent it from getting scratched up and any drips of water. When you are finished handling it, slide it all the way back into the base, You do not have to do anything to start it. That will happen automatically the next time you ask it to clean an area. - After an operation is performed that included mopping, the robot's dirty water tank is emptied into the base's dirty water tank, and the robot's clean water tank into the base's clean water tank. The base's cleaning and drying of the mop also reclaims water. Any deficit of water is made up by dehumidifying the air. - To edit shortcuts, you scroll to the end and select more. To delete a shortcut, swipe the shortcut to the left to reveal the red trash can. You define shortcuts by selecting one the cleaning types from the "Recommended shortcuts" list below the shortcuts. After you select a cleaning type from the list, you can change it to another type later by editing the shortcut EXCEPT FOR AI Auto. To use AI Auto you must select it from the "Recommended shortcuts" list. You can change FROM AI Auto to one of the other modes, but you cannot switch from any of the other modes to AI Auto. You can have a maximum of 10 shortcuts. After some experimenting as to what works best, you might want to make a list in order that you want the 10 you can have and delete all of the default ones and enter your own. You can always do an add-hoc cleaning by selecting one from the shortcut type list and adjust it to what you want. You simply won't be able to save it as a shortcut. - To set material type, from the map page, select edit icon under the settings gear, select "Carpet" or "Material". Under "Material" select "Wood", "Tile", or "Other", and tap each room one at a time. After you touch a room, it will respond with "Saved" and you proceed to the next room. This begs the question, what do these settings do? According to 3i tech support, when used in conjuction with AI Auto, "Wood" and "Other" use moderate water amounts while "Tile" uses high water amounts. Another source said that it also affects the downward pressure of the mop roller but tech support didn't say that. I have little confidence in tech support's answer being complete. - The battery must be a beast. It ran at "Max" suction, "Max" water, and "Material" "Tile" (max mop pressure) for the entire 5.6 hour duration and 2,544 sq. ft. and a mop roller that runs at 330 rpm, 1/3rd faster than any of the others, without stopping to recharge. However, it was probably charging during the 40 minute distillation period, but it had gone already gone over 2 1/2 hours up to that point. I noticed the pattern afterward that the vacuum and mop paths are 90 degrees to each other. - After it finishes a job, be prepared to wait for a while while it thoroughly cleans rollers, drys the mop, and distills the water. After that you will be able to use it, but what will cause it to run a long time thereafter is the dehumidifier pulling water out of the air to refill the clean water tank to make up for water lost on the floor. For my entire main floor it used 1 1/4" out of a 6 3/4" of water from the clean water tank when using Max water for the entire house, so the limiting factor is that causes the ~40 minute distillation process interruption is the size of the dirty water tank in the base unit. The dehumidifier process makes about as much noise a refridgerator and dries the roller at the same time and runs for hours. However, by default it will go quiet at 10 PM and restart at 8 AM. - On max water, it does not leave any standing water. What it leaves behind is the ability to see that it is damp, as though you thoroughly wrung out a cloth and wiped it. It's just enough to know mopping occurred. On the normal settings for "Material" "Wood" it leaves such few traces that you wonder if it mopped. It might still be doing a good job that way but it is not apparent. If you ever see a line of water left behind, it indicates you waited too long to clean the robot's sewage box metal screen. - I don't know what is in their solution, but after I clean, it leaves the house with a light, fresh, clean smell. - The supply costs are reasonable, so it isn't like they heavily discount the vacuum to make it back in supply sales. - I don't see any way to change the shortcut order. The last one defined or modified will be last in the list. - If you do vacuum and then mop, it will complete those operations one at a time for each room, not vacuum all of the rooms and then mop all of the rooms. It's not as efficient, but there are pluses too. When a room is finished, the robot will not be coming back to that room, and if you want to move furniture to another room while it cleans a room, you can move it back when finished with that room. Current Shortcut setup: 1. All w/Dining first & Foyer last - This is so you can place the kitchen chairs in the Foyer to clean under dining room table and put the back sometime before it gets to the foyer. 2. Kitchen to Bath - This includes the Kitchen, Dining room, Hallway, and Bathroom, e.g. the path that gets tracked up with dirty shoes many times daily. 3. Kitchen - So after baking you can clean only the kitchen. 4. Dining - Clean only the dining room. Best to move chairs to Foyer. 5. Bath - Bathroom only because it often gets dirty. 6. Foyer - Separate from livingroom so you can clean it after using the area to store diningroom chairs when cleaning the rest of the house. 7. South Bedroom 8. Center Bedroom 9. North Bedroom 10. Foyer & Living

UPDATE July 1st: I do NOT recommend the purchase of this system at this time. Maybe after issues are resolved and updates are done. Delivered April 17th. First issue with the robot reported to them on May 26th. We have uneven water flow with water puddling on the left side of the robot. It’s not an issue on the tile floors, but for the wood it certainly is. The ultimate decision from the tech team was that tile floors wear out the 'consumables' quicker. Well, that’s a problem if it is a huge purchase to replace the expensive roller mop every month. Second issue reported on June 11th. It is making a God awful knocking sound! The Tech team reviewed my video and determined the roller brush cover has become warped causing the noise. They promised to send a new one, along with a new roller mop. As of today, July 1st I have not received anything! Each issue is becoming worse and each reply back from support has been "we are sorry for your inconvenience and our team is still reviewing your issue". That isn’t doing me any good at this point. I have asked for the robot to be replaced, as I feel I received a faulty one. I am very unhappy that I feel like I have wasted $1500 of money and countless hours of my time. TWENTY-FOUR responses back from support and I still have a broken robot. I will update as the situation develops. For now, I would definitely hold off on purchasing the system until they have resolved some issues and have done updates. First review: Wow, what a difference this makes, very worth the money! I love the roller mop and the self sufficient sewage and water tanks! No emptying dirty water, no filling water tanks! Time will tell if all the moving parts hold up. (Fingers crossed)

Amazing peoduct. Does exactly what it says it does! I have now used it for close to three weeks and really don't have anything bad to say. The AI bits are really smart and once it sees a stain, it keeps working it till the area is clean! The fact that up to now i have not had to empty the stinky dirty water or add fresh water is totally amazing. Can now take long vacations and return to a spotless home! When it extracts moisture from the air it can be a bit noisy, but can adjust the time for this feature to work through the app. I have set it up to work at night when we are not close to it. The one thing that did surprise me was the weight of the unit, however no surprise as it does a lot. Bit difficult to chuck it in your car and take it from one place to another.... The part that totally took me by surprise and blew me away is the customer service! Super prompt, super helpful, and super polite i have not seen or experienced this level of service in like forever! No problem too small and every problem solved! I was a bit apprehensive buying this "unknown" brand, but truly glad I did so....I can honestly say buy without fear.....
