I use this for the top of my bed to lay clothes on when doing laundry. Works fine.

This is a decent blanket that does seem to be waterproof enough for "bed activities," at least. It's not huge - but that almost makes it easier to just grab and throw on the bed. It certainly fits under your hip area. I like the rubbery side that prevents it from sliding around too much.
