Sew Your Own Furry Llama Pillow (Klutz)

The photos and description do not do this cute project justice. There is so much in this pack, to inspire. More than you will need. And a beautiful book, teaching you to sew, giving you ideas. Amazing project for anyone above the age of 10. Have brought 2.

Bought as a Christmas present for my 8 year old. Probably a little too advanced as she gets bored quickly so haven’t yet finished making it!

My granddaughter enjoyed making this llama, she is 11years old and didn’t need any help. Looks great when she finished & she was very happy with it

Brilliant kit! I’m 23 and kept me entertained and on my toes whilst in quarantine! I’d definitely say it would keep the little ones entertained! Comes with everything needed and products are good quality. Would recommend buying!

I hand-sewed this myself as a 65 year old because I love llamas. The instructions were easy to follow. I had to add some stuffing, so I recommend you buy a small quantity of polyester stuffing to complete the project as there was not enough in the kit. The back of the cushion is a printed fabric not faux fur as the front.

This looks lovely and great quality and value for money. Have not opened properly as a present for my daughter but I know she will love it. Would recommend.

I have bought a couple of these as a gift and the cat one, but to my disappointment every set seems to have had something missing out of it. Which is so frustrating when making it and embarrassing when it is a gift for someone. Otherwise this is a great set if all the pieces are there my daughter loved them, but did need some help as they take a while to make.

Makes a lovely Llama that is easily customised.I agree it would be too advanced for a child but a lovely thing to do together .It took us a couple of sessions over the Christmas period and my daughter is delighted with the finished thing .

It was easy enough for me to do, but not too easy. I like that it gives the opportunity to use your creativity to make your llama a true individual work of art. The explanations were so very clear. My 5yr old granddaughter saw it when she came for a visit. After telling me several times, "Abuela, I really love that llama," I allowed her to take it home.

Bought this kit for my friends daughters 11 birthday but she wasn’t able to complete it on her own and ended giving it to me to complete it. Very easy to put together but I did switch out the back for a nicer material and the llamas blanket. Also added some craft pieces I had around. You can definitely complete it with materials supplied. Now my kids want this kit they loved it so much

Looking for more ways to practice sewing, I bought this kit. I love llamas and alpacas, so I couldn’t resist this, especially with how fun the customizations looked and I’d get to learn something new, as I’ve never sewed with pompoms before.Plus, having tried a Klutz kit before (the cactus plants one), I felt confident the instructions would be clear (they were), the kit would be complete with all the parts as advertised (it did), and there would be an allowance for one’s own creativity to be involved when it comes to decorating it (there was.) The customizations could be even more grand if you have additional supplies laying around at home, like pompoms, yarn, sequins, etc.I did this kit over about a week. It wasn’t hard, but it did take concentration so I wanted to make sure I didn’t rush it or get bored with it. There were lots of customizations available, and I decided to do the ear tassels and a flower crown. What is nice is that these customizations are removable, so if I wanted to later, I could make a little wardrobe out of the other pieces like the top hat and bow or even make a necklace of pompoms or tassels. The wings and unicorn horn would be permanent, as you are supposed to sew those on, but there may be a way to make those removable too so you can have even more options to change around the llama’s “clothes.”I am SUPER pleased with how my llama turned out! I am giving this one as a gift and I'll probably get another kit to make a second llama for me.
