Honestly, I didn’t expect this speaker to perform this well. The sound quality is rich and clear, and the overall product quality feels premium. For this price, it’s one of the best portable speakers I’ve bought. Very satisfied with it.

Excellent speaker! At first I had an issue with latency watching videos and connected to my MacBook, the audio was not synchronized. But then I download the app from the company and upgraded the software from the speaker and the issue was gone! Very good volume and I bought another one to connect TWS and they work flawlessly together, even connecting to my MacBook and iPhone at the same time as an AirPod does. Recommend it!

The soundcore Anker Select 4 Go provides a punchy sound out of a small package. Sound quality is good, especially if you install the companion app and adjust the EQ, theres a few built in but there is also a custom option, where you can optimize the EQ to your liking. Sound quality does dip a bit when on high volume, but the speaker is loud enough that you will get by in the middle of the volume slider. The speaker is no bigger than a fist, so can fit in any bag. Pairs with ease to modern smartphones, and there is an option if you buy a second to pair for wireless stereo sound. The long battery life means you throw it in a bag and forget, use it all day and not end up reaching for a wall outlet, or power bank. The speakers' water resistance is there, working after and during a dip. It floats too, which means it shouldn't end up submerged despite the rating accounting for it. I would still recommend keeping it away from bodies of water, it takes a while to dry and sound quality is poor whilst floating in water. It's more insurance that if it was to be knocked over at a pool party, it will work, than an advertisement to bring it down under the water. With a competitive price, great sound you can personalize, the soundcore Anker Select 4 Go is an easy pick for a Bluetooth Speaker for social gatherings, or discreet back-garden album listening.

Guys, the reviews are legit. This little speaker punches way above its weight class for both price point and performance. The battery life is also great. Comparable to a lot of other more expensive speakers in its class, you will get similar quality of sound at often half the price of JBL, Sony, Bose - etc. I was a Bose and Sony man my whole life, but for speakers this small, the minimal difference in sound quality between brands is not worth the cost difference in my opinion. It's very compact, it can fit in a side pocket of some cargo pants, or attached to a bike or backpack easily. You can also download the app and tune the speaker from your phone to your preferences. Its great for filling a large bedroom with sound, and anywhere inside 20 feet when outdoors. Would highly recommend this product. If you can wait for it to go on sale, even better.

Very positively surprised. It sounds better live than it sounds on video comparisons. Especially great for listening to podcasts or talk shows. Its bluetooth range is exceptional and better even than the one on my JBL charge or bluetooth headsets that I have. The only thing I don't like so much in comparison to other brands is the buttons are a bit hard to press especially because they lack the texture as you find in other models, so using in the dark or while not looking can be tricky unless you're so used to the speaker you can already guess their exact position. In this regard, I prefer the buttons on my JBL Charge. I also don't like having to long press the on/off button. It's much better and more practical to just short-press as in my JBL Charge. But this is a secondary nuisance. Music-wise, this speaker gives you the ability for what we know as "easy listening" - it allows you to endlessly listen to music at low volume without hurting your hearing and while decently enjoying it. It has a very decent timbre for enjoying music. I wasn't able to compare it with its direct JBL competitor yet though but it's undoubtedly pleasant to listen to music at low volumes. If you try to use this as a power speaker at high volumes the sound will turn ugly because this is not that type of speaker and was never meant for listening at high volumes. If you want to listen to music at a low pleasant volume, this won't disappoint. Also, not that it needs to, but it allows stereo function by pairing with an identical speaker. But, again, if your purpose here is hiFi, then just buy HiFi speakers. This little speaker's purpose is listening to podcasts or very easy listening to music at a very relaxed volume - ambient music. It's especially indicated for listening to either music or podcasts at night when you don't want to bother your neighbors as its bass signature is very soft as is the case with any speaker of this size. One other thing I like a lot is the 4 tall soft rubber feet which allow you to place the speaker on top of a surface without the speaker vibrating over that surface. Note that this will not stop the surface itself from vibrating with the sound. If you want to avoid vibration on surfaces you better just use its incorporated lanyard and hang it somewhere. Edit: So I got a second unit to ofer to family but I took the opportunity to try the stereo feature with the two units and the sound is amazingly enjoyable. Put each of the two units one at your right side, one at your left side and I promise you you will enjoy the sound a lot. The most amazing thing about this product is that, you can literally buy two units for the same price as one single JBL Go. So the actual accurate comparison is not 1 Soundcore Sellect 4 Go VS 1 JBL Go 5 but two Soundcore Sellect 4 Go VS 1 JBL Go 5, and the the pack of 2 in stereo will decisively destroy the latter in any fair, unbiased comparison in terms of sound.
