I initially bought this just for a quick holiday project, thinking it would be like my past LEGO experiences. To my surprise, this set is much more than that. It comes with hundreds of building guides—ranging from simple windmill transmissions to advanced autonomous robots with programming. The variety is insane! It’s kept us busy far longer than expected. If you're looking for a high-quality, high-value STEAM kit, this is it.

This is the coolest toy. So easy for kids to read directions and put together on their own. Also fun for grown ups. Once the robots are completed they are fun to control on your tablet or phone.

The building pieces are excellent quality. The app works, but is not intuitive. It is hard to find the instructions and then coding areas for each build. I also wish that they would make it possible to run the app on at least 2 devices simultaneously. That way my kids could each be working on a different project at the same time.

Update: Makerzoid reached out and was able to send out the parts I needed. The STEM toy is very quality, and my son has really enjoyed it and will continue to enjoy it with his new part replaced. My son received this as a gift. I posted a question here on Amazon about purchasing a Host Controller to replace his current one. (Without this part, this kit is useless. We have replaced the batteries and it has power, but is not operating.) I received an email stating to reach out to their customer service from their website and someone will get back with me about a replacement. Weeks turned into months and I’ve tried contacting via email twice. No response. I will update my review if I received contact ever from Customer Service.

5yo grandson loves this. STEAM projects like this are awesome to build his thinking and creative skills. He had a blast building a dinosaur and a helicopter then operating them with the tablet. For the price and all the activities it provides, this is well worth the money!
