There is no twist action. Doesn't even work as normal nail file on small dogs.

Really dreadful. I can use a good nail file better. The product is supposed to smooth sharp edges after you have trimmed the nails. It is worthless. It would seem that the nail would go in the center and you turn to smooth, but the center is smooth, too big to use as a guide for edges to be smoothed. Yes, you can try to use the device to smooth, but a flat file is easier and far better. Save your money.

This is a joke... Dogs can't handle me using this in them and their feet are played with constantly. We trim and shape their nail for them without issue. Don't like this...
