This is a good spinning pen that is fun to play with and use as a fidget device. I am not very good so I'm leaving out the ink pen inserts since it is hitting the ground quite a bit right now. Using it as a pen was not the priority. I haven't compared it to other spinning pens but I can tell that it has a good weight and balance.

This was a bit pricey, but I love it. My only wish is that it retracted because it gets pen marks on everything that touches it. That's why the four starts.

Mostly plastic, just the weighted tips are metal. Dont be fooled by “premium materials” its kind of crap.

Imagine a baton but at your work desk. This is it! I looked up videos as to how to do the different things and to be honest right now I'm just playing baton. It's perfect during meetings! Maybe I'm late to the party as to people doing this but it is darned good entertainment. It seems balanced and for me it is the perfect weight.

According to my son: not sticky enough to do tricks. I am not a pen spinner so that doesn't mean a lot to me but it was really important to him. Other than that, the balance is good and it makes for a nice fidget toy. The pen part sucks though. The entire tip broke off and thankfully we noticed before he attempted another spin.

Pros: - Well balanced - Heavy with weight at ends - Can still write with it - Rubber ends makes dropping it less scary Cons: - Kinda pricy considering you can get an Ivan mod pen for ~$17

I got this for my granddaughter who got pretty proficient at using Devil Sticks. I thought this would be an activity she would appreciate and could use in a smaller space. It took her a while to get the hang of it, but she likes it a lot.

As an avid "spinner" over the past 30 years, I Was very pleased to have a chance to rate this product. As a while the product was worth it as a spinner, but not as a pen. Some of the other devices that I have bought over the years have had the added benefit of having a usable side that has an ability to be used in a pinch as a pen (you have to uncouple the rubber ends) but that is not how the product is used. It would be wholly silly to have an oversized pen in your jacket or pants pocket in case of the need to sign a check. Other than being unwieldy, it would have to be taken apart and put back together making it altogether a nuisance of a writing implement. However, it is nice to have a useful pen as part of a spinner, and I can't say that this was easy to install or functionally adequate when it was assembled so as a pen it failed miserably. As a spinner toy, the product was well balanced and had good grips. The ability to have weight options was interesting but for someone who is used to the techniques, the higher weight allow better overall momentum and felt better to use and therefore the lower weights seemed substantively superfluous. For the beginner, the product is a good one to use with no sharp ends (it's not a pen) so furniture, pets, small children are not in any danger. For the experienced out there, it's a fun product to work on additional tricks and certainly it helped me gain an advantage in advancing my skills with a well weighted product that I continue to use.
