Hydraulic power without the extreme sensitivity of a hydraulic system. Can much more easily meter your braking force. Applied braking force is more of an upwards gradual curve rather than a linear, steep straight line. Feathering the brakes on a downhill seems to be much easier than with a purely hydraulic system, yet still has the stopping power of hydraulic. They’ve worked flawlessly thus far. They were a breeze to install and set up, and they look good.

Great item! This was an easy install and upgrade to our e-bike. Our e-bikes had cable actuated disk brakes. With a heavy e-bike, this left a lot to be desired. We also tow a doggy trailer. It took a lot of force and distance to stop with the stock disk brakes. This was a simple and cheap upgrade. The stopping distance was reduced substantially. Just a note that these were used on 180mm disks using the stock mounting adapter, not the ones that came with these. Took less than 20 minutes per brake to install. I selected these because they use to stock brake cable, thus maintaining the motor cut-out and brake light. Highly recommend!

These are nice calipers. I bought two sets to use on my E-bikes. They work well, but I didn't notice as much of a difference as I was expecting by replacing the non-hydraulic calipers. I did have to use the original caliper mounting brackets, as the brackets that came with the calipers didn't fit my particular application.

Easy to install and definitely makes a dramatic difference in stopping my Aipas M1 pro...shorter distance,and with the cargo baskets loaded,extra braking power is essential...these grab and hold with almost no adjustment needed...work as well as some priced twice as much...so far no leaks of fluid..brake shoes have good composition and strong grip...,

Got this set to upgrade / retrofit the mechanical brakes on a Haoqi Black Leopard circa 2022. Installation is easy, and the fit was perfect. Help yourself by having the right tools on hand - brake cable tensioner and cable crimp. With those, fine adjustment of the braking tension is easy. They are smooth and they are quiet. Total install front and back was about an hour.

These are good breaks and definitely an upgrade from the single piston mechanical calipers that were stock on the bike. I installed them on my Aipas M2 Pro as I put it together. The bike is heavy and many reviews said the brakes were inadequate. The istallation was very staight forward and pretty simple. There are a couple of videos online to assist. I had my initial trial down to the bottom of the New River Gorge. No fade and good stopping power, even at higher speeds. I woould recommend this upgrade to a heavier ebike if it has standard mechanical breaks. Well worth the price and it is something you can tackle yourself with simple skills base.

This was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent they don't compressed they don't stop the bike almost got in the kill I've never get these brakes again and I suggest no one would eitherget these brakes again and I suggest no one would either

Fantastic! These are 100% better than the manual disc brakes my e-bike came with! Less effort on the squeeze of the brakes and they grab the disc and stop me about 15ft shorter than the old brakes would’ve…..worth the expense!

Does the job, little bit noisy
