I purchased these prebiotics after doing a GI Map test that showed I had a massive overcrowding of bad bacteria in my microbiome. One of the recommendations was taking a XOS prebiotic. I went to my trusty Amazon and searched for prebiotics. I am familiar with NOW Supplements so decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. I add a 1/2 teaspoon to my daily smoothie along with my collagen powder. I have had no negative reactions to the product and can only hope it is helping me boost my good gut bacteria.

Easy to mix with water & recommended by my physician for daily health.

I believe the supplements are working, and I will purchase this item again when needed.

I think this is great stuff. They say it takes just a little to have the same effect of other oligosaccharides (like FOS, GOS, etc). Ergo, you can, I think, avoid some of the bloating which might come with too many of these FODMAP soluble fibres. Notably, it seems in particular to increase your Akkermansia Muciniphilia bacteria which is all to the good. I read this in a scientific paper the name of which I have forgotten. I'm sure it increases other commensal bacteria as well. And NOW Foods is a good outfit I believe. So how can you go wrong? Check it out! I think you will be glad you did. P.S. From extensive reading and personal experience, I strongly believe in the importance of soluble fibre for good health. In fact, I believe it is time to make FIBRE the 4th. major food group, along with carbs, proteins, and fats. Fibre is real, real, big. Go fibre!

I am on my 3rd bottle and the product does seem to work in reducing (not eliminating) flatulation. I do a lot of alcohol sugars and this seems to help with tolerance. However, the Nutrition label says there are 31 one tsp servings and I take 1 tsp daily. Both of the previous bottles ran out a week early I have this on subscription. There are only 21 doses per bottle, rather than 31 (I measured it out). So either the label is incorrect or actual fill from the factory is off. So adjust your plan or dosage accordingly.

Good for your gut bugs!

So I ordered this product and started using it right away. Alot of the reviews claimed it works fast and a bit too good so start out on a lower dosage that recommended. I tried that and it did absolutely nothing so I went for the full dosage and still nothing. The reviews claim to you mix this is hot and cold drink as well as food items. When you mix with cold items it doesn’t fully dissolve, it clumps. There is no way to get the clumps out without throwing your drink away which is also wasted product.Imma be honest I either feel like the reviews are not honest or left by people who already have a very weak gut system so the slightest thing they eat or drink automatically sends them to the toilet regardless . This product experience didn’t meet the type of the reviews left, or the description regarding the product.

I am reading the fantastic book FIBER FUELED by Dr. Will Bulsiewicz, and getting serious about my digestive health, so I wanted to try this. It is a "prebiotic." Dr. Bulsiewicz says go slowly with this type of supplement. It is delicious, and I take small spoons of it during the day and when I wake up at night, because I think it may best reach the colon on an empty stomach. My digestion feels wonderful, but I also combine this product with other high fiber foods and "resistant starch." If you are interested in this product you also want to learn about resistant starch, and also the other oligosaccharides: isomalto-, fructo-, galacto-, etc. This product seems fresh. I know it is effective, because I am experiencing good results. What I have learned is that the way to feel good is through your gut. In other words, try treating your brain issues through your digestive issues.
