Honestly I tried this out of being desperate. My skin flares so easily and can be very painful. I do a lot of steps in my skin routine just to be comfortable to move my face to smile. But I'm always looking for the next thing that will help treat not just manage.When i first tired it, it felt different then I'm used to. I thought it may be drying my skin out too much. But it wasn't too pricey to try and I seen a lot of older methods treating it with a z bar (or similar just different brand) but it's not used a ton anymore. So I figured one or two more tries and if i5 stills feel wrong I would just toss it.Boy am I happy I waited. Just the same day but the end of the night for my next skin care routine. My face didn't feel that address anymore AND it didn't feel dirty and dry and most importantly not painful in any way. I continued to use it about a handful more times and I'm thrilled with the results.It truly makes my skin feel better and I find a lot less build up at the end of the day. It really manages that layer of my skin. I'm so disappointed cause I've tried such expensive methods. And this has been so helpful.I do still do my additional cares (toner, moisturizer, etc) after every wash which probably makes a difference too. But that's more I find has benefit my the most. But this soap is really going to help in thay deeper level. I can feel the difference. Will be buying more and more!

This is an EXCELLENT soap for people with rosacea, dermatitis, and other facial skin issues!! It's very gentle, but super cleansing, and leaves your skin feeling VERY smooth!! I have super-sensitive skin, and I use this every other day, alternating with the regular Vanicream cleanser, and this seems to be a good balance for my skin. It even takes off my makeup! It's going to last forever at the rate I'm going (I keep it in a travel soap container), so it's also a great buy for the money!!

Vanicream products were recommended to me by my dermatologist due to my very sensitive and often dry skin. I’ve tried a variety of their products including moisturizers, cleansers, sunscreen, and even vitamin C and every single one has worked wonderfully for my skin. This cleansing bar is no exception. I keep it in the shower and use it for both my face and body. It’s gentle, doesn’t cause any irritation, and leaves my skin feeling clean without being stripped. Highly recommend for anyone with sensitive skin.

This product is amazing! I have seborrheic dermatitis, so I first tested it on my eyebrows to check for any reaction. My eyebrows did tingle a bit, but I decided to ride it out, and I’m glad I did. While it doesn’t completely eliminate my seborrheic dermatitis, it helps tremendously by keeping the peeling and flakes away for quite a while. Although it’s not specifically intended for this, I also noticed that it reduced the bumps on my forehead caused by fungal acne and helped dry out my pimples and pustules from hormonal acne. I use it exactly as instructed, and it works well alongside my other skincare products. It’s very very drying but I have a good moisturizer. I love this soap and will never stop purchasing it.

Single-handedly fixed my face when expensive prescription face creams did not. I finally have adult skin that actually looks and behaves like adult skin. Idk why it took my dermatologist so long to recommend this 🙃Usually use this on my face in the shower and let it sit for 30-60 seconds. Have to keep it away from my eyes or it will irritate the skin. Also follow-up with a good, protective moisturizer because it can be a bit drying (I typically mix a little bit of Vaseline with my lighter moisturizer to make it more emollient).Super effective. And super affordable.

I want to preface this review by sharing that I have struggled with my skin my whole life and do many many things to keep my face (and overall skin) acne/folliculitis-free, including but not exclusive to hormonal birth control, aloe gel, hyaluronic acid, sulphur, etc.Having said all that, using this bar has made a noticeable difference. I have less redness, less inflammation, and overall it gives me a brighter, healthier complexion. After washing, I use a very light moisturizer and my skin looks so much calmer than it ever has. The craziest part is that ChatGPT recommended it! Never knew this product existed before that!Lastly, I'm only giving it four stars because it is not the only product I use and it's not a miracle (nothing is, unfortunately!), BUT this bar has proved itself to be a very worthy and welcome part of my skin routine. I can see the difference every time I use it!

This product has helped my skin so much. I have very sensitive skin and had to completely change my skincare routine and watch out for products that have oils. I think I might’ve had fungal acne after trying everything but nothing was working. I was going to order the Nizoral anti dandruff shampoo but saw it would be harsh on my skin and was recommended this bar instead and it is absolutely amazing. I use Cetaphil fragrance free Daily Facial wash everyday and use this bar once a week like a face mask for 1-2 minutes after washing my face(you can do it twice a week too) then I use the VaniCream Daily Face Moisturizer with the green strip on the bottle which is also new to my routine and my skin has cleared up so much. A little goes a long way as it lathers up very well and there is not a horrible smell. Please never get rid of this product!!!!! Also it took about two to three weeks for this to clear up and consistency is key.

I have been wasting money for years on something to help treat and prevent flare ups in my face. This soap worked within a few days. I use it daily and have had little to flare ups since. And my skin is smooth and not peeling anymore.
