Can someone explain why this has "Potassium Acesulfame" as this is toxic and unhealthy ingredients

Its an artificial sweetener, so its not good for you. Look at the splenda scandal to see how bad these things are for the human body. The FDA has said a lot of things are safe, only to later on become known as dangerous. There are countless studies on artificial sweeteners. Look some up. You will be gobsmacked that they actually put it in food.

What ages can use this?

I have read the info on the listing and as this toothpaste doesn't contain Triclosan or Fluoride I would say that if a child is to use this then only a small amount (pea size) on the brush and make sure as with any toothpaste that they don't swallow it. If you are going to use it for re-enameling teeth then remember when you have finished brushing to keep the toothpaste in your mouth for a couple of minutes so it can get to work properly on your teeth as stated in the listing.
