Teleport to the bridge of Star Trek’s most legendary starships as you launch an epic adventure across the galaxy! Star Trek: Into the Unknown features the most detailed Star Trek ship models in tabletop gaming, all designed to scale. Large ships like the U.S.S. Enterprise or the Jem’Hadar Battle Cruiser will tower over the smaller ships, and all come pre-painted to an incredible amount of detail.

Absolutely Amazing Miniatures
Although, I haven't played it yet. The introctory scenario/rules look good. Nice mix of narrative and simulation is how it reads. The miniatures look amazing! The scales for the ships (in comparison to each other) look more accurate than other miniature games. Although, I only checked measurements on the federation vessels. I'm honestly not sure about the scale of the Dominion, in terms of accuracy, but they look good. When the package arrived, the Constitution class had a broken pair of nacels but I was able to fix it fine with glue. So, that fixes nicely enough - but a little annoying that I had to fix it.I think these miniatures are the big selling point for this product. I could definitely see using these in roleplaying and other games. They seem the perfect scale for gaming and having details.I'm not sure about the going price, but these days it seems like everything is expensive. Hopefully, they can manage to produce the same high quality at a lower price. At the current price, I don't see myself buying it regularly, but it also seems like you don't need a lot of ships to play the game. I definitely want to buy more in the future but at the current costs it won't be often. The miniatures are amazing though.

Great Game (With a couple of caveats)
While this was purchased elsewhere, I thought I'd share my thoughts on the game here.Star Trek: Into the Unknown is an excellent, albeit challenging miniatures game that combines elements of tabletop wargames with the classic feel of Star Trek episodes. The learning curve is a bit steep, although that is due more to the sheer amount of options you have on your turn rather than a bunch of hard to learn mechanics. If you are new to the game, I would recommend watching Crabbok's playthrough videos on YouTube. You will learn how to play much faster than just powering through the rulebook. As for the minis themselves, while they might be improved with a little touchup paint, they look great overall. Definitely better than the Attack Wing minis. Plus, this time they're all in scale.Overall, a fun game. My only complaint it the glacial pace of release for new expansions.

Don't buy.
Neat miniatures. 40 page unclear tutorial before you even get into the overly complicated act of playing the game. Unlikely this will see the light of day for more than a year as the learning curve is so steep you'll never find anyone who wants to commit to 4 hours to learn how to play.
