SEASIR Stream Fishing Rod, Ultralight BFS Carbon Fiber

This rod actually surprised me, great carrying case with it, appears to be great quality I paired with a cheap round dc reel and have been casting 3g lures. The handle grip don’t appear to be real wood but it’s still good and you can’t beat the price!! It seriously me lead me to try some addition rods from SeaSir. I like it!

Nice ultra light rod, very sensible for fish bites and good and ergonomic handle, it feels premium even the price is very affordable, get it for a light lures.

Quality rod, using with a BFS cast reel and works perfectly. Not quite sensitive enough for me to cast 1-1.5g lures/softbaits but could definitely be on my end.

The fishing rod guides seem nice and appear to be Fuji quality. However the “Solid Wooden Handles are not actually wood but plastic painted to appear as wood. this made the pile very slippery in my hands. Combine that with the weight of the reel on the top side and the rod wanted to continually flip around so the reel was on the bottom. The lack of quality grip made keeping the reel on the top nearly impossible when my hands got wet.

This thing feels great in the hand and is an absolute joy to fish with. The sensitivity is pretty bad but for the price it’s hard to complain. It can definitely handle a decent fight. I will probably slip a better blank into this handle at some point but it’s an incredible value.

Horrible rod. Broke in a tiny pond when fishing for little fish. Snapped in half on first use - can’t return because I don’t have the rest of the rod.

Was honestly looking to dodge a bullet and find an affordable ultra light rod for my kastking zephyr and I am not disappointed. Rod's super lightweight, but has enough backbone where im not afraid to really load up lures with it. Grip feels perfect in hand and looks aesthetically pleasing. First day out with it I decided to test this rod's max lure weight with a 1/4th oz rooster tail and not only was I slinging them with ease, I felt confident in the rod's strength to load the lures however I pleased with casts. Not only did this rod pass the cast test, I ended up catching (and releasing) around 8 rainbow trouts that day (biggest being 15 inches) and a few small big mouth bass. This rod even loads my 1~ gram lures no problem, haven't tried anything lower yet. I've taken this rod out only 3 times now but it's becoming my favourite rod very quickly because of how well it works for how light of lures I'm trying to cast and not to mention the bag it comes with is a super nice addition.

Well I bought the extremely super ultralight rod and this tiny but mighty reel and the whole thing weighs .5 lbs its the lightest setup I ever bought and its really nice. Im a small person so it fits me perfectly. Can't wait to try it in spring.
