A1: 4-5 coats (3 min drying in between coats) plus a clear top coat. Nice touch to plain, clean nails. I added the extra coats for a little more pop of the pink color to hide little nail flaws. It’s a clear sheer with a pink tint, like described. So don’t expect it to be like a light polish color. Very nice product, I’ll be buying more!

I absolutely LOVE this base coat polish! I have never really liked (or been able to maintain) regular nail polish, especially the darker colors. I also can’t be bothered with much more than a quick coat every 10 days or so. This fabulous Gellen tinted base coat lets me have my cake and eat it too: I simply apply it and it not only keeps my nails from breaking as much as they used to, it also adds a very pleasing tint that only slowly recedes and fades. PERFECT. The red color so far is my favorite, but I expect I’ll try the other colors as the weather turns toward Spring, etc. Totally recommend, especially if you’re lazy like me!

This nail polish dries very fast and goes on smooth and silky. The finish looks great, but the smell is very strong, so good ventilation is definitely needed. I ordered this polis because it said “nontoxic” but the smell makes me wonder that it’s got some toxic qualities.

Love this new nail polish! I was debating between the sheer pink and sheer red, trying to get the jelly nail look. So glad I ended up going with sheer red to get that pretty dark pink look for jelly or soap nails!! I’m sure the sheer pink is pretty too and may go purchase that one, but highly recommend the red! Pink color is as pictured in the description! Dried fast too! Two coats pictured without top coat on yet.

Good quality but I expected more color. It’s completely clear. I ordered 2 different colors and they’re about the same.

I got the A4 tinted red and it’s exactly what I was hoping for. Sheer dark pink. I have two coats and a top coat. It’s beautiful! I have to update that this is the shortest lasting nail polish I have even with my same exact top coat I’ve used with other polishes. This one started coming off after one day (usually I can get 3), kinda stinks but it’s so pretty!

This clear base coat works really well. It applies smoothly, dries fast, and helps my manicure last longer. It gives a nice clean finish and works perfectly under gel or regular polish. Great quality for the price. I would definitely buy it again.
