I posted a review a bit prematurely regarding flickering from the dimmable light bulbs I bought on Amazon. Product I purchased was the Luxrite A19 LED Light Bulb 60W Equivalent, 4000K Cool White Dimmable, 800 Lumens, Standard LED Bulb 9W. I wanted to be able to set or dim the bedroom table lamp lights from a remote control versus nearly falling out of bed to reach for and turn on and off the table lamps on both sides of the bed. Also, the dimming feature was a must. Now the big box and other local stores all carry the compatible bulbs I was looking for but only in 3000K or 5000K temperature ratings. But there is a dramatic difference between the two temperatures as I found out after buying and trying those. The 3000K temp lights are very yellow. The 5000K temp lights are quite blue. So, if you want yellow or blue light, they got ya covered. For what ever reason though, they don't sell a 4000K temperature light which is the perfect neutral lighting and you will be hard pressed to find one online as well, that dims. No idea why this is but finally I found these LUXRITE bulbs and they met all my criteria, they were the right size, they dim, they are 4000K temperature and they come in a 60 watt equivalent LED bulb! So, I was thrilled when they arrived so quickly! I ordered Thursday evening and they arrived Saturday afternoon! What! I know...that was amazingly fast! So, I opened the nicely packaged light bulbs and put them in the lamps. The color was this gorgeous true neutral light. Not too warm and not too cool :-). Unfortunately, when I dimmed them down using my new Wireless plug-in dimmer and remote bought elsewhere, the lights began to flicker which was a deal breaker. So, I wrote my first review explaining the issue and packaged them up to send back and got back on line to find the elusive bulbs from the brand names that the company that sells the dimmer remote, specified are compatible. None sold were in the 4000K temperature rating. None! So, I googled the flickering issue and found a video that walked me thru the fix. It turns out there is a tuning dial on the plug in fixture (again, purchased elsewhere) that I was able to adjust, that fixed the issue. It's a go around but works for me. Regardless, I now LOVE the bulbs again and there is no flickering! I cancelled my return naturally :-). HIGHLY recommend the LUXRITE bulbs now, as the color of this light is gorgeous in the 4000K temperature rating, price was excellent and shipping SUPER FAST!

I opted for the 4000K bulbs for my bathroom. I have 3 of them in a fixture and they are definitely bright enough to light up the room. I have Lutron dimmers and these bulbs work great with these dimmers. They dim all the way to the off position without any humming or buzzing. When the lights are dimmed below 30%, and you turn them off, they turn on very slowly when the light switch is turned back on, which I really appreciate. For the price, these are great bulbs.

They were the right size and brightness for a master bathroom light fixture.

I bought and installed 12 bulbs in October 2021. This is April 2026, so four and a half years later. I've replaced three so far. The only flickering happened with the first bulb that went out. They are generally great. At 8 hours/day for 4.5 years, I used my lights approximately 13,140 hours and have lost 3 so far. I might turn the lights on and off once or twice each day.These lasted much longer than incandescent bulbs. With the seller advertising 25,000 hours per bulb, my bulbs lasted about half as long as promised.

We needed these to replace the flickering bulbs that came with a new ceiling fan when we used a dimmer switch. These work with no issues when dimming, and seem brighter than the others, even with the same 800 lumen rating. They are also a nice 4000K white, vs. the yellowish 2700K of the OEM bulbs, so that might be why. Overall, they do just what we needed them to do.

*UPDATE* Silly Homeowner Mistake: LED bulbs require a different dimer switch.This is my first time purchasing dimmable LED bulbs, and I had issues with these as soon as I screwed them in. When I attempt to bring the dimmer down, the bulbs start blinking or turn off completely. When the dimmer is in the lowest position, they go off.Again, I've never used LED dimmer bulbs, so I am not sure if it is the bulbs or the chandelier wiring, although I did not have these issues with regular bulbs.In the brightest setting, these feel like they extend the daylight into the dining area.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!!!!! I would have given these bulbs zero stars if possible. These are BY FAR the worst LED bulbs that I have ever dealt with. I purchased one (1) dozen of these bulbs back around the end of December/beginning of January and by the beginning of February the first two (2), which were in two different lamps that each held multiple bulbs, died. Then, another bulb would die every few weeks and, finally, I have now completely run out of them. LED bulbs are supposed to last 5-10 years. These can't even last 5 months. They're plain DEFECTIVE. Likely a design or manufacturing defect that the company is aware of, but because no one would initiate a law suit over a 12-pack of light bulbs that cost $35, they continue to sell them rather than take the financial loss as a company. I bought all of the bulbs I needed for my two-story, two-bedroom home when I moved in with my wife and every bulb I purchased is still functioning at 100% capacity except for these bulbs. Obviously, as the bulbs did not die immediately and the return date was January 31, I was denied any ability to return when the first two (2) failed. Do yourself a favor, don't buy cheap LED bulbs. They're going to last you up to 10 YEARS. $35 for three (3) plain, high quality bulbs is a wiser purchase than having to buy this 12 pack every six (6) months for the next ten (10) years (i.e., $35 x 20 = $700 vs. $35 x 4 = $140). In addition, as I was extremely busy (and a bit lazy), before changing the bulbs, some of them, rather than simply dying and leaving the other bulbs to illuminate the room, flickered for a month or more before dying. By this I mean, I flip the light switch and the bulb starts going on and off so fast that you get an instant head ache. THIS WAS ONE OF THE WORST PURCHASES I HAVE EVER MADE (and that's saying a lot, given that they're only light bulbs). If anyone who works for the company reads this, tell your CEO and managerial staff that they should all quit and get jobs at McDonalds wherever it is in China that they live because they certainly cannot oversee the simple manufacture process of light bulbs that they most likely stole the design specs for and wouldn't know the first thing about designing themselves.

These lights give off a white light. And they are dimmable. They do not flicker with the right dimmer. They are very bright and they use very little electricity. I have a fixture in my kitchen that uses three bulbs. I installed three of these bulbs in that fixture and I have more light than I need. I added the dimmer and now I can adjust the light. Bottom line .. these bulbs are great. Art

I ordered these bulbs for my staircase and living room chandeliers, both of which have frosted glass globe shades. They work exactly like I was looking for. Works well with Kasa smart dimmer switches even though it isn't on the list of compatible dimmers. I took a chance with these and so glad that these work with my dimmer switches with absolutely no flicker or buzzing noise. Super happy! Can't comment on their longevity as I have just had them for a couple of weeks.

replace existing bulbs

It appears to be really good quality. I was not able to find this at local store and was able to get from Amazon. Highly recommend if you are looking for 4000k light.

I was looking fir a 4000k light, and this is perfect.

Delivered on time and lights the room well. The colour of the light is nice and white.But, what I noticed that I don't like is randomly the light bulb's flicker inconsistently for a short period of time, sometimes you notice it and other times it's very slight. If I had known I would not have purchased them.
